Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing BSNABOUT THE PROGRAMAccelerated ProgramThe Nursing Program at Stockton is grounded in the Roy (1976) Adaptation Model.Benefits of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program: Small Classes Experienced faculty-Our faculty are dedicated to teaching, scholarship, and thepreparation of students for careers in Professional Nursing. History of Success-The program has a strong record of preparing students forthe NCLEX exam and placing graduates in nursing positions. The five year pass ratehas averaged 90%. Our graduates are employed in Nursing within one year ofprogram completion. Accelerated Bachelor of Science inNURSINGADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTSStudents with earned baccalaureate degrees*Students with earned baccalaureate degrees or higher must have earned credits in thefollowing courses: English I & II Intro to Psych Life Span Development Statistics Nutrition Chemistry I - Inorganic Chemistry II - Organic Microbiology Anatomy & Physiology I & II Ethics (waived for Stockton graduates with a Health Science degree) Pathophysiology* Recommended prerequisite beginning fall 2019A GPA of 3.5 and no less than a C in all required science courses taken at Stockton aredesired for admission. Required science courses taken at schools other than Stocktonshould be a grade of B or higher. All transcripts will be evaluated on an individual basis.All applicants must pass a criminal background check and/or drug screening prior toenrollment. Students must also successfully complete a criminal background check inorder to be licensed as an RN in the State of New Jersey. In addition, students must meetTechnical Standards and Functions outlined by the Program.Applications for the Accelerated Program will be accepted until June 15. Transcripts willbe evaluated on an individual basis.

* Pathophysiology is a recommended pre-requisite course for the accelerated program.Students who do not take Pathophysiology prior to admission into the accelerated nursingprogram will be required to take the course during their first semester in the program.All applicants must fill out a transfer application.
