Exampleswould include a new-hire action in EmployeeCentral, a new course assigned to anemployee in Learning Management System,a new successor created in SuccessionManagement, or updates occurring inthe Job Requisition form in RecruitingManagement.NotificationsNotifications are one of the functions thesystem generates when a certain modulesubscribes to an event that calls for anaction by a user. Notifications are in the formof email notifications, web notifications,to-do action items, or homepage tiles. For example, when an employee ishired in Employee Central, and as GoalManagement is a subscriber of this event, web notifications are sent to the manager tocreate a goal plan for the new hire.SubscriberA subscriber is any application that is areceiver of the triggered events created, enabling functions to be performed at thesubscriber end. These applications areeither an SAP SuccessFactors module or anyexternal third-party application. When anemployee is hired in Employee Central, forexample, the event triggered is “EmployeeHire” and the subscribers are the LearningManagement System, Goal Management, and any other third-party application.PublisherPublisher is any SAP SuccessFactors modulethat raises an event. For example, EmployeeCentral for an event such as “Employee Hire.”EventsNotificationsSubscriberIntelligent ServicesCenter4IntegrationCenterPublisherAd hoc reportsIntegration CenterThe events published by SAP SuccessFactorsare standard, but partners and customershave the flexibility to customize the optionsfor the subscribers. The combination ofIntegration Center and intelligent servicesoffers the added feature of developingcustomized integration flows to send datato any third-party application, triggeredin real time when the event occurs. Forexample, when an employee is hired inEmployee Central, certain benefits or payrollinformation could be sent to an externalvendor.Intelligent Services CenterAs of early 2017, the previously used EventCenter was replaced by a comprehensivetool called Intelligent Services Center (ISC),which can be implemented via the UpgradeCenter. It is a one-stop shop to monitorall events triggered by the system. It alsoprovides an overview of all the subscribersand notifications that are part of the event. As the Intelligent Services Center is alsointegrated with the Integration Center, youcan create flows with just a click from withinthe same tool, allowing you to establisha link with any external vendor and sendrelevant data.Ad hoc reportsAd hoc reporting supports the creation ofcross-domain reports so customers can seerelated event information in the IntelligentServices Center and correspondinginformation from Employee Central orother modules.
