INCREASED RATES OF PAY AND ALLOWANCES FOR STAFF IN THENSW HEALTH SERVICE – HSU AND ASMOF AWARDSPURPOSEThis Information Bulletin advises of increases in rates of pay and allowances from thebeginning of the first pay period to commence on or after 1 July 2020, to classificationsin the NSW Health Service covered by the Health Services Union (HSU) NSW(excluding Ambulance Officers and Ambulance Managers) and the Australian SalariedMedical Officers Federation (ASMOF) (Career Medical Officers, Medical Officers, andMedical Superintendents only).KEY INFORMATIONOn 1 October 2020 the Full Bench of the NSW Industrial Relations Commission (IRC)awarded a 0.3 per cent increase to the majority of NSW Health Awards, includingAwards containing classifications covered by the HSU and ASMOF. These Awardshave been varied by the IRC to incorporate the increase in wages and wage relatedallowances of 0.3 per cent effective from the beginning of the first pay period tocommence on or after 1 July 2020.Details on the new rates of pay and allowances are provided in Attachment 1.
