Otherwise, water may enterthe vehicle interior or the engine compartment. If in case you have to drive through waterthen: Keep engine in higher RPM and crawlthe vehicle in low gear. Flowing or rushing water createsstrong forces. Driving through flowing water could cause the vehicle todrive away through flowing water. Lightly apply the brake pedal to drythe liners until the brakes work normally once you are out of water.WARNINGDo not attempt to start the engineif vehicle gets flooded due to water.Tow the vehicle to a safe place.Contact a nearest TATA MOTORSAuthorised Service Centre2 Check wiper blades, lights andbrakes for proper functioning andcondition.Check the tyre treads depth, the condition of the tread and tyre.Avoid harsh braking and sharp turns. It may cause loss of control and leadto a skid. For slowing down, shift to lower gearsand brake gently.Keep lights ‘ON’ if visibility is poor.NOTEIf you have driven for a long time inheavy rain without braking, theremay be a delayed reaction from thebrakes when braking for the firsttime. You have to depress the brakepedal more firmly. Maintain agreater distance from the vehicle infront. If this happens, shift to a lowergear and apply power smoothly so thatthere is no loss of traction. This section describes your vehicle seatbelt, airbag and child restraints system. Please read and follow all these instructions carefully to minimise risk of severeinjury or death.WARNINGOn long and steep gradients youmust reduce the load on the brakesby shifting early to a lower gear. This allows you to take advantageof the engine braking effect andhelps avoid overheating of servicebrakes resulting in reduced brakingefficiency. Seat belts are the primary restraints system in the vehicle. Alloccupants, including the driver, should always wear their seat beltsto minimize the risk of injury.Sit back and adjust the front seat.Make sure that your seat is adjusted to a good driving positionand the back of the seat is upright.Buckling the shoulder seat belt Grasp the tongue and slowly pull outthe seat belt over the shoulder andacross the chest. This is normaland there are no health hazards or firerisk.WARNINGThe pre-tensioner seat beltassembly mechanisms becomehot during activation.
