Flashing / CodingFrom this screen, you can: Flash any ECU activate / deactivate anyor all parameters in any ECU,i.e. seat occupancy, speedlimiter, video in motion, etc. do whatever the customerdesiresUnlike conventional scannersin the market, the BMWWizard allows technicians topreform manual flashingand manual coding onindividual ECUs, along withcustomization of eachfunction contained withinthe ECU.
Bring ECUs back to life!Emergency Flash:If a critical ECU (like theCAS) fails to respond dueto incorrect coding orflashed software, theEmergency Flash functionwill allow the technician to“ping” the ECU, inquiringabout its currentregistered VIN number,hardware number andsoftware number.If necessary, a VIN orhardware numbercorrection can beperformed in order torepair the ECU.
