HSBC Premier World Elite Mastercard Reward Points RulesWe have summarised information on yourHSBC Premier World Elite Mastercard RewardPoints (“Points”) for you in the followingPoints Rules.Please note that all of the following rules applyto the Premier World Elite Mastercard credit cardalongside the HSBC Premier World Elite MastercardAgreement Terms, plus any additional terms wemay have provided in relation to your associatedPremier card benefits.1. You must hold a valid HSBC Premier World EliteMastercard Credit Card issued by HSBC UK Bankplc. No other cards are eligible.2. You will automatically earn Points accordingto the amount you spend. Earn 2 points for every 1 (including any tax) of eligible spend in Sterlingcurrency and earn 4 points for every 1 (includingany tax) of eligible spend in non-Sterling currency(non-Sterling transaction fees apply). Sterlingcurrency includes transactions made in the UK,Jersey, Guernsey and Isle of Man as well astransactions overseas where you choose to pay inSterling rather than local currency.3. Points will be earned for purchases of goods orservices, by you or any additional cardholder, usingyour HSBC Premier World Elite Mastercard CreditCard (“Eligible Spending”). Points can be redeemed for up to three yearsfrom the month that they are first shown on yourStatement. After that, they will expire and bededucted on a monthly basis and you will lose thebenefits of these Points.168. You can also redeem Points for items which wewill tell you about from time to time. Additionalterms and conditions may apply to some or all ofthe items and we will provide you with these whenwe detail the items available.9. Points are redeemed by following the instructionsin the Reward Points brochure*.10. Points earned cannot be transferred toanother person.11. If you choose to redeem Points for any itemdetailed in the Reward Points brochure* but do nothave enough Points, we reserve the right to chargeyou the retail price of the item to your card or acombination of Points and cash.12. Unless we inform you otherwise, itemsordered will normally be delivered to the primaryCardholder’s home address within 20 workingdays of placing the order. Most items ordered willbe delivered free of any charge. A charge may bemade for delivery to non-mainland UK addresses(including Isle of Man) and we will notify you ofthis at the time of order, if applicable. If any goodsoffered under the programme are unsuitable fordelivery to your address, you will be responsible forcollecting the goods from such UK address as wenotify you.13. All goods and services supplied will be coveredby the manufacturer’s or supplier’s normal terms ofbusiness. Except where the law provides otherwise,we will not be responsible for the quality orsuitability of the goods or services, or for any delayin delivery. If your account is closed, no further Pointswill be earned. All remaining Points must beredeemed within 30 working days of closure. Wereserve the right to deduct any Points left at the endof this period.If you have chosen to redeem Points automatically,this will happen at that time. If we close youraccount, we may ask you to use your Points within30 days of us advising you of the account closure.15. Where the card facility has been withdrawnas a result of you breaking the terms of your cardagreement with us, we will be entitled to deduct allPoints, leaving you with a nil Points total.16. We may at our discretion change the numberof Points you earn for your Eligible Spending or theperiod during which you must use your Points, bygiving you at least 30 days’ written notice, whichincludes statement messages.17. Any income or other taxes and duties whichmay become payable are your responsibility and wemake no representations regarding the current orfuture tax implications of earning or using the Pointsunder the programme.

18. We may, at any time, develop specialpromotions where you may earn Points underdifferent conditions. Points given under thesepromotions will be referred to as Bonus Pointsand will have their conditions disclosed tothe Participants.19. We may terminate the programme at any timeby giving you at least 30 working days’ writtennotice. You must use any outstanding Points within30 working days of the termination date or we willbe entitled to deduct them all, leaving you with a nilPoints total.20. We reserve the right to terminate or suspendthe Points programme and to deduct any Points youhave earned if you have not observed these Rules,or you are in breach of your card agreement, orany other agreement with us, or whilst yourcard account exceeds the agreed limit or paymentis overdue.21. We may adjust your points balance from timeto time in the event that points have been addedor removed in error. We will rectify your incorrectpoints balance as soon as we reasonably can, butyou agree we are under no obligation to honour anyincorrect points balance.22. We will only investigate queries concerningPoints earned, Points used or other mattersaffecting your Points total, communicated to uswithin three months of the date of the statement,which relates to the enquiry.23. We may vary these rules at our discretion bygiving you at least 30 working days’ written notice,which includes statement messages.24. Where we are affected by circumstancesbeyond our reasonable control, we reserve theright to withdraw at any time and without notice,any items shown in the Reward Points brochure*,change the Points value and/ or the Points plus cashprice of items.
