All entries must have been grown by the exhibitor as a part of his orher supervised agricultural experience program. All exhibits must havebeen produced during the year specified for the class.4. Grain and seed exhibits must be exactly one quart in each sample.Samples of incorrect size will be disqualified.5. Each exhibit must contain a label showing exhibitor’s name, chapter,kind of crop, variety and class number entered in.6. Each ear of corn must be in its natural condition and not more than onepercent of its grain missing.7. Each exhibitor is limited to ten entries in bedding plants orhouseplants. Exhibitors are limited to five entries per class in the fruitsand vegetables classes.8. Premium money will be awarded only to those members whoseexhibits are brought to the fair.9. When declared their project will be judged in thedivision entered and the Sustainability category.The Lake Region Solid Waste Authority will be sponsoring the SustainabilityCategory for the youth, and entries will be based on the following criteria; illustrates the benefits of recycling and/or using recycled materials OR encourages household composting OR promotes waste reduction and/or landfill diversionAwards will be presented at the Linn County Fair Awards program on Fridayduring the Linn County Fair.81
