Investigations Unit Provide a service to NDOW wardens byinvestigating time intensive, multijurisdictional cases. Allows more patrol time for field officers bynot bogging them down in lengthyinvestigations. Enforcement Citations overall dropped from 1005 to 645 due to: Moratorium on registration enforcement Social distancing of wardens Warnings overall increased from 1932 to 2132 Softer stance on registration enforcement Careless/Reckless/Negligent Operations way up National trend Citations up from 167 to 229 Warnings up from 269 to 1062 Fatalities stayed low Three cases, only one of which had boatoperations as a contributing factor.

Search and Rescue In 2020 reportable period: 87 Search and Rescue Cases 251 Vessels Assisted 675 Persons Assisted
