The 18,595 square-foot facility includestwo clinic classrooms with stylist work stations, wash houses and color bars, a skin clinic classroom withmultifunction machines, LED machines, micro-dermabraision machines, teeth whitening machines anda separate waxing room, student lounge and lockers, client reception area, management offices, andprivate classrooms. Applicants may document proficiency using theTest of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) results.Cosmetology: Standard Occupational Classification (SOC 39-5012.00):Classification of Instructional Program (CIP 12.0401)The curriculum involves 1000 hours to satisfy California state requirements. The course includes extensiveinstruction and practical experience in cutting, hair coloring, perming, customer service, personalappearance and hygiene, personal motivation and development, retail skills, client record keeping,business ethics, sanitation, state laws and regulations, salon-type administration, and job interviewing.The school’s delivers instruction in the form of power points, keynote, dvds, lecture,hands-on applications and role playing.Students will also participate in a 16-hour, two-day Classic Eyelash Extension certification program whichwill provide the knowledge and practical skills needed to become a successful lash artist in what is one ofthe fastest growing service areas in the beauty industry.
