Design Changes Redesigned operator door is lighter and threshold moved higher for better chip containment. Control pendant moved to front of machine. Convenience package, including washdown hose, on front of machine. Control cabinet moved back, allowing large side window. This will allow for robot/PalletPool/APL in the future. Side window to access SMTC carousel for cleaning.
Design Changes Castings all redesigned, large linear guides, wider truck stancefor added rigidity. Spindle head narrowed and spindle nose extended out forbetter tool to part access. Cycloidal rotary drives on B and C axes. More forgiving in caseof a crash. B axis travel increased from 110 degrees to 120 degrees. Side vise location for first/last op. Platter location moved 2” in X towards tool changer, centeredon operator door. More LED lights in machine interior. Added coolant nozzles around spindle head, now nozzles toreach front and back of tools. WIPS tool probe moved forward for better access and visibility.
