Results – Why Is There a Lack of Connection?14% of respondents reported a lack of connectionWho are they? 3 out of 5 parishioners feeling a lack of connection do not have children attendingschool or the family program. 85% of those who don’t feel connected to the Parish are over the age of 40. 95% of those who don’t feel connected to the Parish are white.Why do they feel this way? Results – Who is Active in Ministry?55% of parishioners indicated that they areactive in ministry New parishioners are less likely to participate (p .05): 11% of those attending less than 2 years 43%-56% of those attending more than 2 years Older parishioners are more likely to participate (p .05): 26% of those under 40 50% of those 40 and older Males are significantly less likely than females to participatein ministry (37% vs. 51%, p .05).9
