The MAS-100 FamilyLeading solutions for air monitoring

Improve your viable air samplingwith the MAS-100 The most complete and accurateline of microbial air monitoringsystems available! How theSample collection heipha ICR* andMAS-100 works accuracyICRplus Settle PlatesAll MAS-100 Microbial Air Monitoring Systems are sieve impaction systems based on the Anderson impaction principle, accepted and provenworldwide. Air is aspirated through aperforated lid. A radial fan, controlledby a flow sensor, accurately regulatesair flow real time at 100 litres/min.The air is impacted onto the surfaceof growth media in a 90 – 100 mmPetri dish or 55 – 60 mm ContactPlate. MAS-100 Microbial AirSamplers comply with the guidelinesas specified in new ISO 14698part1 and part 2.2The MAS-100 Microbial AirMonitoring Systems provide themost accurate sample collectionavailable. The MAS-100 systems(except the MAS-100 Eco ) utilize astate-of-the-art mass flow sensorto ensure a constant air flow rateof 100 litres/min. The mass flowsensor continuously regulates the airflow rate during sample collection. This allows the MAS-100 toautomatically adjust for differencesin fill volume of Petri dishes, changesin air density and differencesbetween individual perforated lids. The heipha ICR Settle Plates areproduced under aseptic conditions,gamma-irradiated and triple-bagged,making them optimal for passive airsampling in isolators and cleanrooms.Furthermore, they are also suitablefor personnel monitoring, as wellas active air monitoring withMAS-100 microbial Air Samplers.* Isolators and Clean Rooms

Traceability is not a guaranty ofmeasurement accuracy, it is a chain of documentationbetween the last measurements made, linking it tothe referenced standard. The uncertainty (accuracy)of a measurement is determined by the combineduncertainties of all measurements made by devicesbetween the referenced standard and that devise beingcalibrated, this is called the “chain of comparisons”. Witheach link in the chain, additive uncertainty occurs. Tominimize uncertainty and maintain accuracy the numberof links in the chain of comparison must be minimizedand the uncertainty for each link must be documented. This is the highest level of flow accuracy available fromany microbial Air Sampler manufacturer. You can havethe confidence when monitoring critical environmentsthat every sample volume collected is accurate.15
