MMC PRESSESQUALITY FEATURESAll MMC Presses have been engineered to providehigh levels of performance, functionality, and reliableoperation under demanding conditions. Some of themany features of the MMC line of straightsidemachines include: Wintriss WPC2000 / SmartPAC 2 clutch andautomation controls provides safe and simpleoperation, while allowing expansion with a widerange of additional features as required.(AutoSetPAC tonnage monitor, DieProPAC 8-inputdie protection and ProCamPAC 8 channelprogrammable limit switch modules are standard.) Built to meet or exceed JIS Class 1 accuracystandards. Rigid, fabricated steel frame helps to maintain betterminimizing deflection. (Standard bed deflectionis 1/8,000 mm or .0015” / ft.) Precision-machined gears, forged steel crankshaftsand other drive train components are designed forsmooth power transmission, quiet operation, andlong life. Ross brand dual air valves meet all safetyrequirements, and are easily serviceable if required. Electrical components are name-brand, and readilysourced locally. Yaskawa variable frequency drive allows fine-tuningthe press speed to best suit the application. Variety of clutches available, includingpneumatically operated friction, hydraulicallyoperated friction, and wet type – suited toapplication . Low-inertia air actuated wet clutch & brake isresponsive and long-lasting. Powered die height adjustment in .1 mm/.004”increments provides fast, accurate tooling setups. Cast connection rod and fabricated slide with 8point gibs and bronze liners for maximum accuracy. Fast-acting hydraulic overload protection systemhelps to prevent damage due to tonnage overload. Automatic monitored recirculating oil lubricationsystem helps to increase the life of bearings andslide ways. T-slotted slide face and bolster helps to provideeasier clamping of tooling.
