CORVETTE CRUISING AROUNDNIGHT RIDEROn Wednesday, Feb 2, about 40 Stuart Corvette Club members attended the Nightrider eventand cruise for a great time. BRUNCH WITH BARRYOn February 19th over 35 people cruised up along the Indian River to the Capt's Galleyin Fort Pierce. The group enjoyed great weather and the traffic was very light. The staffwas on their toes and had our food out in short order. The Brunch Bunch will meet at Blockbuster Video by 9:45AM and depart promptly at 10:00 AM for a cruise to a local restaurant. See details below:MAR 16 – Car Show and Board Meetings. Dear Members,This month's Brunch with Barry will be a little different. We will leaveBlockbusters at 10;00 AM for a cruise and tour of the National NavyUDT-Seal Museum located on Hutchinson Island. We will take the tourfirst and then go to the Harbor Cove Restaurant for lunch. Please eatsome breakfast before you come for the cruise and tour. The price ofthe tour is 6.00 per person. Attending the museum is a very somberlook back on how the navy frogmen started and of the valiant peoplewho served.For those who can not make the tour, you can meet us at 1:00 PM atthe Harbor Cove Rest. While we are enjoying our lunch, we will have agreat view of the boats docked in the Harbortown Marina locatedat1936 Harbortown Dr, Ft Pierce.As you turn onto the causeway to North Hutchinson Island you shouldturn into the first driveway on your right. The restaurant is situated atthe rear of the marina. Just watch for the signs.The change of dates was necessary because of a conflict at themuseum. Stuart Corvette Club Presents the 13th Annual River Cruise-In Coming April 30,2011 – Call for Participants and VolunteersThis year we will be doing something different with judging. We will still use participant judgingbut in order to prevent some of the ballot box stuffing in the past we will have the followingjudging: Non-SCC Participants will judge SCC Cars SCC Participants will judge non-SCC cars All participants will participate in judging for best engine, best interior, best paint Total top vote getter of all judged Vettes receives Best of ShowHow Many Trophies Will There Be? Non-SCC Cars – Top 20 SCC Cars – Top 20 Best Engine, Best Interior, and, Best Paint – all Corvettes eligible for these awards. Best of Show – total top vote getter from show field. Schumacher Sponsor Appreciation Trophy – all Vettes eligible.
