Thank you! As I write this message at 35,000feet on our way to San Diego, my heart is grateful. MOCC is filledwith wonderful, caring, generous people! What a weekend! Friday’sset-up went so smoothly, followed by almost 30 of us continuing thefun at El Tapatio! Many members began their Saturday morning at 6a.m. setting up coffee, food, registration and parking at the WayneCounty Fairgrounds. 115 Corvettes made their way to the ChristianChildren’s Home of Ohio and filled their grounds with powerful colors.A large number of CCHO staff were there to assist in making “Cruisin’For the Kids” run smoothly. One of my favorite parts of this day istalking with the kids while they enjoy their special treats of soft drinksand ice cream. They loved presenting Kids’ Choice trophies and ridingin some gorgeous Corvettes. Generosity was the word of the day. Donations! Auction! 50/50! Judie the Clown! Other clubs who passed ahat to provide generous cash donations! The music and beautiful sunshine helped to make the day perfect!Looking ahead we have our September 11th MOCC meeting at CCHO.On Sunday September 23rd our club is putting on a Low Speed eventwith Corvette Cleveland in Lorain.Save the Wave!Joni BarkyoumbActivities Committee and5Newsletter EditorMOCC News/MOCC Events6Officers, Committees,Birthdays and Anniversaries7MOCC Miscellaneous Awards, Welcome and NewMembers8National Corvette Museum9-10The East Ohio Region of theNational Council of Corvette11 &CCHO and Vette FunMembership Applications1-8910-11
