March, 2021Since 2011, the Milwaukee Health Care Partnership’s Safety-Net Clinic Referral Directory has servedas a comprehensive inventory of the free and community clinics, community health centers and othersafety net providers that serve low-income, uninsured and vulnerable populations in Milwaukee County. It contains essential information about 60 primary care, dental, mental health and specialty clinics –providing a variety of information including hours, payment practices, languages spoken, and types of clinical services and screenings offered. The directory is a resource for hundreds of providers, care managers, health and human serviceprofessionals and IMPACT 2-1-1 community resource specialists, in their support to individuals seekingfree and low-cost health care services. It is available for download at: the Milwaukee Health CarePartnership mkehcp.org, IMPACT impactinc.org, and the United Way of Greater Milwaukee & WaukeshaCounty unitedwaygmwc.org.We recognize that the scope of services available through these clinics may change from time to timeand encourage users to confirm information directly with community clinic partners prior to making areferral. We also recognize the increasing need for information about behavioral health resources in ourcommunity as individuals and families struggle with isolation, job loss and economic uncertainty causedby the pandemic. We hope that you will stay up-to-date with the most current array of behavioral heathand other community resources available through impactinc.org or by calling 2-1-1.Joy Tapper, Executive DirectorMilwaukee Health Care PartnershipJohn Hyatt, President & CEOIMPACT400 W.
