Program prerequisite/preparatory course information (graduation guide) can be accessed from theprogram website. OCNE academic policies are that letter grades are used/recognized without /- designation incalculating GPA. (Note: RCC and OHSU will not accept C- grades for general education courses applied towardthe BSN.) You cannot have been dismissed from any nursing program or failed any two nursing courses. Applications will not be processed for any student who has a financial hold at RCC. Applications willbe held until the hold is cleared. Un-cleared holds will result in disqualification if not taken care ofby the application deadline. Credits taken pass/no pass (if accepted by the college as meeting requirements) may be considered only if the“pass” was equivalent to a “C” or better. Students with transcripts outside of RCC must complete the online Transfer Credit Evaluation Request to triggeran official evaluation. Students who have submitted official transcripts previously and have requested a transfercredit evaluation do NOT have to request this again unless it is a transcript with NEW courses that need to beevaluated.Complete the ATI TEAS Exam: The Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) is a basic admission requirement that assesses a student'spreparedness to enter the health care field. Applicants must take the TEAS exam before the application deadlineand submit results via email to 2021AdvancedPlacemen@roguecc.edu. The TEAS transcript may also beincluded with document submitted with this Application and Agreement to the same email address above. To qualify to apply to the RCC Practical Nursing Program, applicants must have a composite score of 58.8% orhigher. Students must answer 170 questions in 209 minutes. TEAS Registration and Study: ATI offers tutorials, practice assessments, and a study manual to help individuals prepare for the TEAS Exam.Reading, Mathematics, Science, English, and Language. Everything you need to know about the TEAS Exam. Applicants must contact ATI Testing and schedule the TEAS Exam and attach/ upload results with theirapplication by October 15, 2021. Information about the TEAS and registration links can be found on the PracticalNursing web page at ATI TEAS. Scores of previous Practical Nursing TEAS exams can be used within theprevious two years of application deadline.
