2WARRANTY (EXCEPT USA, AUSTRALIAAND NEW ZEALAND)Your Rado watch is warranted by RadoWatch Co. Ltd.* for a period of twenty-four(24) months from the date of purchase under the terms and conditions of this warranty. The international Rado warrantycovers material and manufacturingdefects existing at the time of deliveryof the purchased Rado watch (“defects”).The warranty only comes into forceif the warranty certificate is dated, fullyand correctly completed and stampedby an official Rado dealer (“valid warrantyc ertificate”).During the warranty period and by presenting the valid warranty certificate,you will have the right to have any defect repaired free of charge. In the event that repairs will not restore the normal conditionsof use of your Rado watch, Rado Watch Co.Ltd. guarantees its replacement by a Radowatch of identical or similar characteristics.The warranty for the replacement watchends twenty-four (24) months after the dateof purchase of the replaced watch.This manufacturer’s warranty doesnot cover:– normal wear and tear and aging(e.g. alteration of the color and/or materialor non-metallic straps and chains, suchas leather, textile, rubber);– any damage on any part of the watch resulting from abnormal/abusive use, lackof care, negligence, accidents (knocks,dents, crushing, broken crystal, etc.), incorrect use of the watch and nonobservance of the directions for useprovided by Rado Watch Co. Ltd.;

3– indirect or consequential damages of anykind resulting from e.g. the use, the nonfunctioning, the defects or the inaccuracyof the Rado watch;– t he handling of the watch by nonauthor ized persons (e.g. for batteryreplacement, services or repairs)or the alteration of the watch from itsoriginal condition beyond RadoWatch Co. Ltd.’s control.Any further claim against Rado Watch Co.Ltd., e.g. for damages additional to thosedescribed above in this warranty, is expressly excluded, excepting mandatory statutoryrights the purchaser may have against themanufacturer.The above manufacturer’s warranty:– i s independent of any warranty that maybe provided by the seller, for whichhe carries the sole responsibility;– d oes not affect the purchaser’s rightsagainst the seller nor any other mandatorystatutory rights the purchaser may haveagainst the seller.The Rado Watch Co. Ltd.’s customer serviceensure the perfect working order of yourRado watch. If your watch needs maintenance, rely on an official Rado dealeror an authorized Rado Service Center as setforth in the enclosed list: they can guarantee service according to Rado Watch Co. Ltd.’sstandards.Some states do not allow limitations on howlong implied warranties last, or exclusionsor limitations of incidental or consequential damages, so exclusions or limitations mentioned may not apply to you. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a majorfailure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You arealso entitled to have your RADO watchrepaired or replaced if it fails to be ofacceptable quality and the failure does notamount to a major failure.In New Zealand, RADO watches also comewith guarantees that cannot be excludedunder the New Zealand ConsumerGuarantees Act.This Warranty:– I s not intended to change or exclude anystatutory or consumer rights that cannotbe lawfully changed or excluded;– I s independent of any warranty that maybe provided by the seller, for which hecarries sole responsibility; and–D oes not affect your rights against theseller, including any mandatory statutoryrights you may have against the sellerunder local consumer laws.OUR WARRANTY TO YOUThis Warranty is provided by RADO WATCHCO. 7Your RADO watch is covered by thisWarranty for a period of twenty-four (24)months from the date of purchase underthe terms and conditions of this Warranty.This Warranty covers material and manufacturing defects existing at the time of deliveryof the purchased RADO watch (“defects”).Where such defects become apparent during the warranty period and provided youpresent a valid warranty certificate, RADOWATCH CO. LTD. will:– Repair your watch free of charge; or– In the event that repairs are unable to restore the normal conditions of use of yourRADO watch, replace your watch with aRADO watch of identical or similarcharacteristics. Such replacement watchwill have the benefit of this Warranty forthe remainder of the Warranty Period applicable to the original (replaced) watch.Please be aware that:– Goods presented for repair may bereplaced by refurbished goods of thesame type rather than being repaired.Refurbished parts may be used to repairthe goods;– Any data you store in your watch may belost in the course of a repair. It is your responsibility to back up any data that maybe stored in your watch before presentingit for warranty service; and– The Warranty is only valid if the warrantycertificate enclosed with your RADO watch upon purchase is dated, fully andcorrectly completed and stamped by anofficial RADO retailer.

8EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONSThis Warranty does not cover:–N ormal wear and tear and aging (e.g.scratched crystal; alteration of the colourand/or material of non-metallic straps andchains, such as leather, textile, rubber;peeling of the plating);– Any damage on any part of the watchresulting from abnormal/abusive use, lackof care, negligence, accidents (knocks,dents, crushing, broken crystal, etc.),incorrect use of the watch and nonobservance of the use directions providedby RADO WATCH CO. LTD.;– I ndirect or consequential damages of anykind resulting from e.g. the use, thenon-functioning, the defects or theinaccuracy of the RADO watch; or– Defects caused by the RADO watch being handled by non-authorized persons(e.g. for battery replacement, services orrepairs) or altered in its original conditionbeyond RADO WATCH CO. LTD.’s control.HOW TO MAKE A CLAIM UNDER THISWARRANTYTo make a claim under this Warranty, werecommend that you wrap your RADO watch carefully so as to avoid any damageand send it with valid warranty by registeredmail or drop it off in person to your nearestofficial RADO retailer or an authorisedRADO Service Centre.
