PAAS School Improvement PlanThe Putnam Academy School Improvement Plan highlights strategies and initiatives forensuring every student is given the opportunity to grow and develop into a 21 st Centurylearner. Putnam Academy Governing Board members developed our school vision, mission, and beliefs, whereas a committee of faculty members and parents collaborated to developthis guide, which will serve as a road map for school improvement during the next five years.Among the desires of PAAS stakeholders is for our school to transition from a “good” school toa “great” school by being recognized as one of Florida’s “A” schools. To accomplish this boldand aggressive mission, PAAS Governing Board members will oversee the execution of theplan, will commit to allocating the necessary funds and resources for carrying out the plan, and will charge the school administration with the task of implementing strategic initiativesoutlined in the plan. Annually, the school principal will convene a School Improvement PlanCommittee to analyze relevant school data, to assess advancement of plan implementation, and to develop a progress report for the Governing Board.PAAS SIPPage 2
