Tug & Barge &Ship RepairServiceThe Port of Everett is home to Brusco Tug & Barge Inc, Dunlap Towing andEverett Ship Repair.BRUSCO TUG & BARGE IncOffering contractors and builders a complete range of services includingthe moving of prefabricated components, raw materials, aggregates, jettyrock and construction equipment. Their diverse fleet includes barges thatmeet ocean or inland requirements and range in size from four hundredfeet in length to small flat deck and dump scows. Their vessels range from4,500 horsepower ocean vessels to small conventional harbor tugs andpusher tugs with high pilothouses.DUNLAP TOWING COMPANYDUNLAP TOWING COMPANYFor over 90 years, Dunlap has been providing dependable marinetransportation services. Everett Ship Repair(ESR), a subsidiary of Ice Cap Holding, LLC and sister company toNichols Brothers Boat Builders, leased the north side of the Port’s Pier3 and adjacent 3.5-acre site that, over the years, has traditionally filledthe shipyard services and repair niche. The Port has been working hardto restore this needed service in Everett to support U.S. military assets,including those located at neighboring Naval Station Everett, andcommercial vessels, including Washington State Ferries. ESR operatesone of the four largest submersible drydocks in the Pacific Northwest,the Faithful Servant, capable of docking vessels up to 430’ x 110’with a lifting capacity of 7,800 long-ton. Modernizingour facilitiesInvesting in our FutureThe Port of Everett continues to demonstrate commitment to maintainingand investing in its maritime infrastructure. Over the past decade, the Port hasinvested more than 125 million to modernize its Seaport in response to 21stCentury market demand and customer needs. We continuously look for waysto expand cargo handling capabilities and service offerings to keep freightmoving efficiently. The Port’s most recent infrastructure investment is the 57million South Terminal Modernization. This work strengthened the 700-footSouth Terminal wharf to better serve larger ships and heavier cargo, includingaerospace parts for the new 777X, increased rail capacity, added two PostPanamax container cranes and upgraded electrical. The end result; another fullservice berth here in Everett to serve you.Maritime Industrial ExpansionIn addition to maintaining and upgrading existing facilities, the Port is investingin the development of new maritime facilities to add additional project cargocapacity. In late 2019, the Port acquired a neighboring 58-acre former millsite. Plans include construction of a new 33-acre cargo terminal, the leasing of8-acres with a 400,0000 square foot, three-story warehouse, and providingother leasing opportunities on the site.2025
