The qualificationIntroductionThe VTCT Level 4 Diploma in SalonManagement is an advanced qualification thathas been specifically designed for existing oraspiring salon managers.Units in this qualification have been mappedto the relevant NOS (where applicable). Thisqualification is accredited on the RegulatedQualifications Framework (RQF).Throughout this qualification you will plan themanagement of products and services for yoursalon by; analysing data for planning purposes,set operational objectives, monitor workingpractices, evaluate stock control and equipmentlevels and provide recommendations to increasesalon revenue.This qualification is approved and supported bythe Hairdressing and Beauty Industry Authority(HABIA), the standard setting body for hair,beauty, nails and spa qualifications.You will research, monitor and recommendimprovements to ensure the health, safetyand security, the quality of client care andmanagement of sales for your salon.You are expected to hold a Level 3 qualificationin a relevant discipline, or significantindustry experience prior to undertaking thisqualification.From the optional unit section of thisqualification you have the opportunity to selectan area of study which is most relevant to yourbusiness needs.
