A. Product ApprovalAll TPOs have immediate access to submit Conventional and Jumbo loans upon approval. Additional access is immediatelygranted upon request for FHA, USDA, and VA loans.1. VA SponsorshipCitizens does not require Wholesale TPOs to pay the 100 sponsorship fee for VA loan submissions, as this fee will be paidannually for all TPOs that are actively funding VA loans. To request VA access, please contact your Account Executive.Upon approval, you will receive an approval letter with the following information: Please allow up to eight (8) weeks to gain full access to the LGY Hub, the VA’s loan management portal, and haveCitizens Bank NA appear in the dropdown.o If you do not have an existing VA lender ID, you will receive an email from the VA with your logincredentials and VA lender ID after the 8-week period.Until the VA recognizes your relationship with Citizens, all VA loans will close under our Citizens VA lender ID.The VA Case Number Request Form must be submitted for all VA loans during the 8-week period.The form will no longer be necessary once the VA recognizes your relationship with Citizens.2. USDA Guaranteed Underwriting System (GUS)TPOs who originate USDA loans for Citizens must register for USDA’s underwriting system (GUS) to have access to run theirown findings as a Lender Agent. Sponsorship requests are processed by TPO Admin within 24 – 48 business hours. If the TPOis not currently set up in USDA’s system, the request is normally processed within five (5) business days.1. Go to https://www.eauth.usda.gov/eauth/b/usda/home.2. Click Create an Account; then, click Customer and Continue. If you already have a GUS username, you may skip the registration step.3. Enter the requested user email address and click Submit. Send an email to TPO Admin at TPOAdmin@citizensbank.com with the following information: Broker IDCompany nameRequestor’s nameeAuth user IDCompany tax IDPhone numberThis step must be completed to establish the Lender Agent relationship with Citizens. TPO Admin willauthorize the user as a Lender Agent. Please allow 24 – 48 hours to receive an email confirmation.5. Fannie Mae’s Desktop Originator (DO)Citizens allows TPOs to assign loan findings directly to Fannie Mae’s Desktop Underwriter (DU) system through our CitizensAutomated Underwriting System (AUS portal) without sponsorship. After completing the process, the below message will appear.TPOs will receive an email for the following scenarios: Sponsorship Accepted – sent following approval by TPO AdminSponsorship Rejected – sent following denial for duplicate requests and/or for TPOs that are not approved byCitizens; existing sponsorship will not be affected if a duplicate request is received and denied.4. Freddie Mac’s Loan Product Advisor (LPA)TPOs who wish to have loan findings submitted to Freddie Mac must establish a relationship with Citizens Bank NA inFreddie Mac’s Loan Product Advisor (LPA) underwriting system.
