Thank you to our caretaking team formaking our school look so amazing for our first day back!We know that the school year is beginning differently this year but our goal for the first few weeks will be to makeour students feel comfortable again in returning to school. Our focus will be on safety and well-being, establishingroutines and procedures throughout the school, as well as expectations of student behavior.MASKSAll students in grades 4-8 are expected to wear a mask while they are in the classroom as well as in the hallwaysand washrooms. Students will take off their masks to eat, as well as when they are outdoors for fitness/nutritionalbreaks. Students are encouraged to have two masks. A labelled Ziplock bag or Tupperware container can be usedfor mask storage at school. Students in Kindergarten to Grade 3 are not required to wear a mask but areencouraged to do so. Students are encouraged to provide their own masks.BREAKFAST CLUBWe are planning to begin our Breakfast Club at the end of September. It will be a grab and go service whereprepackaged healthy snacks will be provided to our students in the morning upon entry.LATE ARRIVAL PROCESSWe know that there are some mornings that despite best efforts being made, students occasionally arrive late. Inthe past parents would walk students into the office to get an admit slip. Weappreciate your patience as we work through this new process.PARENTS / VISITORS ENTERING THE BUILDINGAt this time the Public Health Department has mandated that parents and visitors not enter the school building.
