The thoughtful author of this message reminded Ken there were only 52 days untilthe next president takes office and would Ken consider retiring early. Ken clicked the reply button and typed, “DearPresident-Elect Alan, hold your horses. I’ve got a ton of projects going and I am committed to leading LA5 until the lastminute of my administration!”If an observer were to hold a lens to the behind-the-scenesworld of the Board of Directors they would view an astonishing array of vital activities that must be concluded in thenext four weeks. Funds raised must be dispersed. Grantsmust be performed and closed. Goal results must be evaluated. Only then can everyone sit back and put their feet up.Rotary Club of Los Angelesestablished 1909May 9, 2014rotaryLA5.org
