Theprimary Boiler water is contained ina Bent Steel Tube Bundle and is heatedin the furnace area, it rises to the upperheader where the heat transfer into thesecondary water occurs. The colder secondary water does not come into contactwith high furnace temperatures or intocontact with the flue gas at all.This eliminates any possibilityof flue gas condensation which will occuron Direct Fired Heaters. Sweating andexternal corrosion of the Boiler Structureand tubes is essentially eliminated. Thepossibilities of scale, rust and corrosion areminimized by the indirect design principle.The furnace remains at a steadyuniform temperature which results inhigh combustion efficiency and lower fuelconsumption.
