Our Leadership Team 2007-2008From the Founder & Executive DirectorThe more my innocent daughter’s life was summarilydismissed by those who had the power to correct thisproblem, the more I hung tightly to what I always said toboth of my children: “Never give up.”How could I give up when I taught my children tonever give up?The problem—the killing and maiming of innocentbystanders and police officers as a result of the violent crashesthat end police chases. For Kristie & ALL Crime VictimsIn my opinion, the people who dismissed Kristie’s life did soout of ignorance.Ignorance exists due to a lack of education and awareness. So, what’s the answer?Education and Awareness!Advisory Board member Nora Profit was instrumental inthe founding of PursuitSAFETY. After listening to me tellstory-after-story about innocent bystanders being killed, disfigured and injured as a result of police pursuit crashes,Nora said, “It’s time.”I founded PursuitSAFETY on Kristie’s 21st birthday,June 30, 2007.Sincerely,Candy PrianoFounder & Executive Director4 Annual Report: Fiscal Year Ending September 2008
