An Alternate Bid (or Alternate) is an amount stated in the Bidto be added to or deducted from the amount of the Base Bid if the corresponding change in thework, as described in the Bidding Documents, is accepted.The affairs of the City of Norman, whether in the conduct of its governmental or proprietaryfunctions, involve the health, safety and welfare of the public; and because the item(s) specified arenecessary and proper for the conduct of said affairs, any delay in the delivery of the item(s) beingbid can jeopardize the health, safety and welfare of the public, and can result in the incurring ofadditional expenses to the City. For these reasons, it is understood by the bidder that the duration oftime from the date of the City of Norman's Purchase Order to the date of delivery of the item(s) beingbid herein is considered to be an integral part of this bid and may be considered in awarding thecontract. Use pen and black ink or typewriter in filling in quotation and initial any corrections. Bidand affidavit must be signed in black ink by an authorized representative of the company makingthe bid. Construction Management Contract. Bids shall include allthe requirements of the plans with specifications unless specifically indicated otherwise in this summary. This includesall layout and daily clean up involved with your work. It is the bidder’s responsibility to review bidding requirementsand forms to insure a complete, safe, and coordinated execution of the Work Package being quoted. Additionally,bidders shall include in their pricing applicable portions of related specification sections normally associated with thework to be performed whether specifically indicated by this Contract Work Summary or not. Should any bidder beunclear as to the scope of work required, they are instructed to contact the Construction Manager for resolution priorto bidding. In the absence of written instruction to the contrary, in matters of specification and/or scope ofinterpretation, bidders shall include the more costly and complete of the possible interpretations. Awarding of TradeContracts will be based on best qualified bid. A copy of the contract agreement to be issued to the lowest qualifiedtrade contractor is available for review upon request.The trade contractor who is awarded this work shall be responsible for attaining and paying for his own plans &specifications and shall include those costs in the bid amount.Substitution requests must be submitted for review and consideration at least 7 days prior to the bid date. Ruby Grant Park – Amendment OneTRADE CONTRACT # 3ABuilding ConcreteWork including but not limited to the following:Drawings & Specifications: See Attached List of Drawings/SpecificationsIncluding but Not Limited to The Following:1) Trade Contractor to include all concrete foundations, footings, spot footings, spread footings, gradebeams, piers, concrete stem walls, void forms, vapor barrier, granular fill, slabs on grade, elevatedconcrete slabs, elevator pits, concrete steps, concrete ramps, concrete housekeeping pads, and concretecuring.2) This trade contractor shall use its own employees to perform this work and shall not subcontract out morethan 50% of this work. References will be requested for verification that this contractor is capable andhas the adequate manpower to perform this work.3) Soil treatment for Termite control to be included in this trade contract.4) Excavation for all foundations and haul-off of spoils to be included in this trade contract.5) Include all slab-on-grade granular fill, granular sub-base, spec’d vapor barriers, steel reinforcing, wiremesh, thickened footings & slabs, keyed construction joints, chairs, supports, slab dowels, expansionmaterials, keyways and saw-cutting.6) Include the concrete adult changing table in the restrooms.7) Provide all batter boards and layout for this work. Trade contract shall have building corners established bya surveying company.8) Receive, stage, layout, survey, set, and protect all anchor bolts & nuts. Protect/clean threads to receivenuts. Coordinate the layout of all anchor bolts with the structural steel trade contractor prior to setting allanchor bolts. (anchor bolts to be provided by the structural steel trade contractor)9) Include all drilling and epoxy required for anchor bolts and dowels.10) Grouting of all column base plates as well as furnishing and installing all isolation joint felt shall beperformed by this trade contractor.11) Trade Contractor shall clean up and dispose of all excess concrete and waste as directed by CM to onsitedesignated concrete disposal area. At the end of the concrete work the excess concrete spoils shall beremoved from the site by this trade contractor.12) Form and strip all concrete openings required by other trade contractors. This is to be coordinated by theCM. Protect all openings in floor with plywood spray painted with “hole” secured to slab.13) Work shall include backfill of all footings, grade beams, pads, foundations, and miscellaneous concretestructures as required, to provide finished sub-grade elevations ready for slabs-on-grades or finish grading.14) Work shall include all layout, excavation and grading work required for the slab-on-grade thickened edges,thickened slabs, sidewalks, stoops, and equipment pads.15) Pointing, rubbing, and finishing as required to provide a complete finished product to be includedin this trade contract.16) Trade contractor to furnish and install all rebar dowels in concrete slab for CMU walls. Coordinate layoutof dowels with CM.17) Furnish, stage, layout, place, tie (this Trade Contract furnishes tie wire), modify as required by fieldconditions, and install all concrete reinforcement, wire mesh, chairs, slab bolsters. Any and all concretereinforcement and accessories are to be included under this trade contractor.18) Cleanup of all concrete "splatters" on other finished products to be the responsibility of this tradecontractor.6Crossland ConstructionCompany

Ruby Grant Park – Amendment One19) All overtime as required to comply with, meet and maintain the Project Schedule.20) Furnish, receive, offload, store, stage, inventory, and protect all concrete reinforcing.21) Trade Contractor shall follow all cold/hot weather placement and protection procedures requiredby the Work provided under this Trade Contract, the project schedule, or as directed by CM. Ice,Hot water, admixtures required for any hot/cold weather concrete pours shall be included in thistrade contract.22) Any and all curing compound, waterstop, & keyways as required by the Contract Documents tobe included with this trade contract. All curing compounds to be approved by the CM prior to useand coordinated with all floor coverings to ensure compatibility.23) Provide temporary fencing at all open excavations not to be immediately poured.24) Temporary Dewatering as required for installation of work to be included under this TradeContract.25) Coordination & Phasing of Trade Contractors' Work as required by Crossland Construction Co.26) Provide and install all rigid foam insulation.27) This trade contractor to schedule and coordinate all testing of work with the CM. Ruby Grant Park – Amendment OneTRADE CONTRACT # 3BSite ConcreteWork including but not limited to the following:Drawings & Specifications: See Attached List of Drawings/SpecificationsIncluding But Not Limited To:1) This Trade Contractor shall include all labor, material and equipment to furnish and install all siteconcrete including all concrete sidewalks, concrete trails, concrete steps mech/elect pads, concrete curb &gutter, concrete paving, transformer pads, light pole bases, supply & installation of reinforcement, weldedwire fabric, foundations for site elements, and all site concrete work as per plans and specifications.2) Include all concrete sidewalks and handicap ramps. Include the supply and installation of all tactilewarning devices.3) Include all concrete pads. If site amenities required concrete foundations, they will be installed by thatscope of work. A concrete pad is not considered a foundation.4) Trade contractor to cut and stockpile soil as required for trail installation. Coordinate stockpile locations withCrossland.5) Trade contractor to backfill all concrete trails and curb. Soil for curb backfill to be provided by earthworktrade contractor.6) Include the costs to layout and stake the concrete trails and pads. The CM will provide staking for thebuilding pads, parking lot corners, dog park, disc golf tees and baskets, and staging areas.7) Include the complete installation of the concrete trickle channels/weirs, including the rock subbase.8) Include all concrete curb & gutter, mountable curb, header curb, and all curb transitions from new toexisting.9) Include concrete ramp, loading dock, landing, retaining wall (modular retaining wall excluded from thispackage), and footings. Rubbed finish on all exposed areas.10) Include all concrete pavement. Include drilling, epoxy, and deformed bars/dowels into existing paving.11) Include all costs of permits for IDP or PFPI work and costs of traffic control as necessary to installation ofwork adjacent to traffic.12) Include furnish and installation of all aggregate or subbase under all sidewalks, trails, curb and gutter asshown & required.13) Include provision & installation of steel bollards including all necessary excavation, concrete footings,and concrete filling of bollards.14) Include all drilling and epoxy required for anchor bolts or rebar.15) Haul off from site all spoils created from excavations, and any other work performed under this TradeContract.16) Include furnish and install of all steel reinforcement, dowels, bar supports, plate dowels, for all workunder this scope.17) Include furnish and install of all dowels including dowels that protrude from the perimeter edge of slab fortie-into to site concrete.18) Trade Contractor shall clean up and dispose of all excess concrete and waste created under this tradecontract. Ruby Grant Park – Amendment One21) This trade contractor to include furnish and install of protective plastic at building or any other finishedelements to protect it from concrete splatters.22) Cleanup of all concrete “splatters” on masonry, structural steel, aluminum storefronts, bollards,curtainwalls, hollow metal and other finished products as required shall be by this trade contractor.23) Trade Contractor shall include “zip strip” on the top of all expansion joints. Trade Contractor shall alsoremove all “zip strip” and clean joints as directed by CM.24) If any ridges are discovered around the column blackouts this trade contractor shall grind down level forfinish flooring.25) Include all water stops, vapor retarders, curing materials, expansion joint materials, concrete protection,hot & cold weather concrete placement procedures as necessary.26) Pointing, rubbing, and finishing of all exposed concrete surfaces as required to provide a complete andfinished product to be included in this trade contract.27) Provide temporary fencing at all open excavations not to be immediately poured.28) Temporary dewatering as required for installation of work to be included under this Trade Contract.29) This Trade Contractor shall be responsible for the cleanup and sweeping of all public streets due to track outcreated by this work.30) Contractor must abide by the specifications for concrete slab “flatness” and any work installed out oftolerance must be rectified and/or repaired to meet this specification or will be back charged the cost to makesuch repairs. This includes grinding, floating, patching, or removal and replacement.31) Include all required bearing pads, connections, non-shrink grouting, anchors, welded anchors, temporarybracing/shoring, support haunches, embeds, inserts and accessories.32) Furnish, receive, offload, store, stage, inventory, and protect all materials.33) Include all required equipment, rigging, hoisting, and bracing required for this scope of work.34) This trade contractor to schedule and coordinate all testing of work with the CM. Includes all labor, material, equipment required for all masonry work including all CMU, split faced CMU,glass block, cast stone, stone veneer, special shaped blocks and brick veneer, interior and exterior.2. Furnish and install all masonry reinforcing, rebar, flashings, joint reinforcements, anchorages, weeps andvents, control joints, mortar, grout, colored mortar, grout fill, joist pockets, sound insulation, fasteners andaccessories required for complete and finished systems and as per the contract documents.3. Include flashings under cast stone, that originate behind masonry, and/or flashings that are under masonrycoping or cast stone caps.4. Include the supply and installation of the cast stone “column plaques” and/or any cast stonesignage/plaque.5. Include material to wrap any timber within masonry columns.6. Include all pilasters as per Contract Documents.7. Install masonry at the picnic grilles as shown by example on L6.09.8. Receive, stage, and install all masonry rebar reinforcing, ties, anchors and masonry dowels.9. Drilling and epoxy of all dowels required for masonry work into the slab.10. Include colored mortar at all masonry if required by contract documents.11. Include the installation of any anchors
