Next Steps for Liberty UniversityEducational Leadership GraduatesEffective January 15, 2020, GaPSC no longer reviews and approves entities that are not administrativelybased in Georgia, specifically out-of-state educational leadership programs and national non-profitorganizations that prepare teachers. Approval for the one remaining GaPSC-approved provider of Tier Iand Tier II educational leadership programs, Liberty University, expired Spring 2020. Candidates who wereenrolled in a Tier 1 or Tier II program, taking coursework, and entered into Georgia’s Traditional ProgramManagement System (TPMS) by April 1, 2020, are allowed to complete their respective programs andearn Georgia certification. Liberty candidates who were enrolled in programs that were not Tier 1 or Tier IIprograms may want to transfer to an approved program in Georgia.
