The Art Institute of California, a college of Argosy UniversityUndergraduate StudiesTransfer Agreement with Santa Rosa Junior CollegeThe Art institute of California, a college of Argosy University (“The Art Institute”), with offices at 3601 WestSunflower Avenue, Santa Ana, CA 92704-7931 and Santa Rosa Junior College (Institution), with offices at 1501Mendocino Ave., Santa Rosa, CA 95401 have entered into this Transfer Agreement (“Agreement”) for the transferof credits to benefit those students who have completed coursework, a Certificate program and/or an Associatedegree and wish to pursue a Bachelor degree at one of the following Art Institute’s of California; The Art Instituteof Hollywood, The Art Institute of Inland Empire, The Art Institute of Los Angeles, The Art Institute of OrangeCounty, The Art Institute of Sacramento, The Art Institute of San Diego, The Art Institute of San Francisco and/orThe Art Institute of Silicon Valley.Transfer AgreementThe Art Institute and Institution agree to the following: The Art Institute and Institution will draft and maintain Course Transfer Guides, as an addendum to thisAgreement, which identifies the Institution courses which satisfy specific course, general education orunrestricted elective requirements at The Art Institute.Under this Agreement, students who complete the courses listed on the Course Transfer Guide, with a gradeof “C” or better, will receive transfer credit for those courses that are required in the chosen program of studyat The Art Institute.Students who transfer to The Art institute prior to completion of their Associate degree from the Institutionwill have their transcript reviewed on a course-to-course equivalency basis.Students must meet the admission and bachelor degree requirements for the academic year in which they areadmitted. Please refer to The Art Institute academic catalog http://www.artinstitutes.edu for completeadmissions and program requirements.Students are required to submit an official transcript from Institution in order to complete the transfer ofapplicable credit.The Art Institute and Institution shall review and update the Course Transfer Guide as necessitated bycurriculum changes by either party.ConfidentialityAny information shared between the parties which by their nature should be reasonably understood by thereceiving party as confidential or proprietary information, shall remain confidential.MarketingThe Art Institute and Institution will work together to promote this Agreement to the participants which mayinclude on-site events and distribution of marketing materials. The parties may utilize each others trademarks inconnection with promoting the Agreement, provided the other party pre-approves such use; neither party shallgain any right, title or interest in any name or trademark of the other party.Termination and ModificationThis Agreement is effective upon the date of the last signature and shall remain in effect for one year. Thereafter,this Agreement shall automatically renew for additional one year term(s) unless either party provides thirty (30)days written notice prior to the end of the current term to the other party of its intent to not renew. In addition,either party may terminate this Agreement for any reason, or no reason, by providing ten (10) days written noticeto the other party. This Agreement is subject to change or modification by mutual written consent between theparties. Any provisions of this Agreement which remain to be performed or by their nature would be intended tobe applicable following the expiration or termination of this Agreement shall survive the expiration/termination ofthis Agreement.1
