X 14 FT.Dwight Holmes Hall was built in 1951 and isthe second oldest residence hall on thecampus of Bowie State University. HolmesHall is now the male residence hall housingfirst year students.

Towers HallBuilding Type: 6 story high rise with doublerooms, limited singles and communitybathroomsOccupancy: 192 ResidentsGender: FemaleClassification: FreshmanRoom Dimensions: Approx. 11FT. X 16 FT.Towers Hall has been a part of the BowieState University campus community since1974. This residence hall houses first timefemale students and has a limited number ofsingle rooms for upper-class students. TheFirst Year Freshman Experience begins inTowers Hall as the residence hall housing thelargest number of freshman females.

X 10 FT.Harriet Tubman Hall is the oldestbuilding on the campus of Bowie StateUniversity and opened in 1921. Namedafter Harriet Tubman, leader of theunderground railroad and heroine to theAfrican American race this residencehall is known for having a strong senseof community.

Tubman Hall has communitybathrooms and showers that arecleaned by our housekeeping staff.

Alex Haley Residential ComplexBuilding Type: Six Story Suite StyleOccupancy: 318 ResidentsGender: Male & FemaleClassification: Freshman, Sophomore,Junior, Senior & Graduate StudentsRoom Dimensions: Approx. 18FT. X 18 FTAlex Haley Residential Complex constructedin 1994, is a co-ed residence hall. Haleyhouses first year students and upper-classstudents. This facility also houses the Officeof Residence Life and the C-Store. Thebuilding is named after the famed author ofroots.

Ten Haley Hall students share a suite witha community bathroom and showers thatare cleaned by our housekeeping staff.

The Christa McAuliffeResidential CommunityThis facility is managed in partnership withCapstone Management. CMRC offers 2, 3 and 4bedroom apartments fully furnished andequipped with full kitchens. Each residence hall has a front desk area where guests sign in and showidentification. In addition each hall has vending machines

The lobby and lounges in the residence halls are areaswhere students study, socialize and staff host programsand activities for residents.
