FPIs are required to keep local custodiansinformed about their participation in the IFSC, as their role is tomonitor compliance.3.6Do FPIs have to open a bankaccount in the IFSC?FPIs are not required to open a bank account in the IFSC.3.7Do FPIs have to open acustody account in the IFSC?Presently, only derivative products are traded in the IFSC stockexchange, and hence there is no requirement of opening a custodyaccount. Upon listing of products such as bonds and depositoryreceipts, a custody account may be required.3.8Does the IFSC provide thefacility of direct market access(‘DMA’)/ co-location?Yes.
