We provide you with thebest possible physical and technicalinfrastructure supported by 2N UPSsystems, N 1 generator backup, as wellas highly redundant cooling systems foreach data center building. Zurich 1 holdsmultiple certifications and is connected tomajor carrier hubs and cloud networks, aswell as to the SwissIX.Our first data center in Switzerland,which opened in June 2011, is locatedin Ruemlang near Zurich Airport. Thebuilding, consisting of two parts, hasabout 6,500 sqm of high availabilitydata center space in the first building.In the new building part, which has beenplanned and equipped solely for use as adata center, state-of-the-art technology isbeing used to increase energy efficiency,in particular cooling technology.
