Mr. Aldridge was a native of Surrency, GA born onDecember 11, 1926. He moved to Ocala 45 yrs ago from Surrency. He retired as a jobsuperintendent for Marion Construction/Ocala Limerock. After retirement, he became a schoolbus aid for the handicapped. He worked for the John Hancock Life Insurance Co for several years in Albany,NY before attending Pratt Institute in Brooklyn where he received a degree in mechanicalengineering. Mr Lemmle was employed by the General Electric Co. in Schenectady, working asa designer in the Large Steam Turbine Generator Dept., for more than thirty years, retiring in1968. All of his life, he had a great love of music. For many years, while living in Willsboro, inthe Adirondack Mountains of New York, he played piano, entertaining patrons of a localrestaurant. He also tuned pianos and church organs. Locally, he was a member of the RainbowRivers Club in Dunnellon. He was preceded in death by his wife of sixty-four years, ElizabethLacey Lemmle, who passed away on Feb. 12, 1999, and by his parents Paul and Anna WilkeLemmle, three sisters, Malwina Lemmle MD, Julia Heidleman and Ruth Auer.
