Florida passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2008 at Legacy House Hospice. She was bornin Ortonville, Minnesota and moved to Ocala in 1992 from Okeechobee, Florida. She retiredfrom Ocala Regional Medical Center following 40 years of service as a Medical Transcriptionist.She is a member of Ocala West United Methodist Church and the "Red Hat Ladies"; the GreatLakes Club at Pine Run and the American Medical Transcriptionist Association. He was born in Schenectady, NY onMay 29, 1908. He worked for the John Hancock Life Insurance Co for several years in Albany,NY before attending Pratt Institute in Brooklyn where he received a degree in mechanicalengineering. Mr Lemmle was employed by the General Electric Co. in Schenectady, working asa designer in the Large Steam Turbine Generator Dept., for more than thirty years, retiring in1968. All of his life, he had a great love of music. For many years, while living in Willsboro, inthe Adirondack Mountains of New York, he played piano, entertaining patrons of a localrestaurant. He also tuned pianos and church organs. Locally, he was a member of the RainbowRivers Club in Dunnellon. He was preceded in death by his wife of sixty-four years, ElizabethLacey Lemmle, who passed away on Feb. 12, 1999, and by his parents Paul and Anna WilkeLemmle, three sisters, Malwina Lemmle MD, Julia Heidleman and Ruth Auer.
