There are stilla number of great car shows scheduled for nearly every weekend through theend of October. Of course, we are all looking forward to the Poker Run forJack Burke and his family on Sunday, September 24th. In October we havethe Jim Butler Chevrolet car show on Sunday, October 15th and theSpooktacular Fall Color Cruise and Halloween Party on Saturday, October21st, and let’s not forget the Garage Tours scheduled for Sunday, November5th and our annual holiday party scheduled for Saturday, December 2nd. Run starts atLaurie’s Place in Edwardsville, IL and ends at The Loading Dock in Grafton, IL. Prizes, raffles,50/50 prize. Details on meet up time and place will follow.GCC Spooktacular Fall Color Cruise and Halloween Party: Saturday, October 21st, cruise willbegin at approximately 1:00 p.m. The Club will cruise the Fall color change to Jeanne andKevin Walk’s home where we will have good food, fun games, movie, fire pit and a whole lot offun and laughs. If you are not able to make the cruise, please come and join us for thefestivities following. Meeting place to begin cruise will be announced at the October meeting.GCC Garage Tours: Sunday, November 5th. Members will travel to the garages of some clubmembers to view their beautiful cars and hospitality. More details to follow.Annual GCC Holiday Party: Saturday, December 2nd at Orlando’s Banquet Facility in MarylandHeights, MO. This years’ party is going to be geared to enjoying each other’s company .noaward type presentations, just good company, food and enjoying each other as the holidayseasons begin. More details to come.

SOME PAST EVENTSPowerlight Abe Lincoln Car Show in Springfield, IL was held August 4-6, 2017.Award winners were Fred & Anna Thacker, Dennis & Judy Shoreack, Dan & Patty Wells, Tim &Theresa Jezeski. We also took a Club Participation Award. There were many, many beautifulcars at this show. It was a very enjoyable show.
