KEYNOTE SPEAKERIIain Chapple is a Professor of Periodontology and Director of Research forthe Institute of Clinical Science, University of Birmingham UK. He is alsoan honorary consultant in restorative dentistry. Iain leads Birmingham’sPeriodontal Research Group, and has published over 200 peer reviewedmanuscripts in the international scientific literature as well as eight textbooksand 18 book chapters. Iain’s research ranges from periodontal pathogenesisto periodontal systemic interactions. He was intimately involved in the newclassification of periodontal disease as well as the guidelines for management.IAIN CHAPPLEBDS, FDSRCPS (Glas), FDSRCS(Edin), Ph.D. CCST (Rest Dent)His distinguished career also includes former Scientific Editor of the BritishDental Journal, associate editor of the Journal of Periodontal Research andis currently the Associate Editor of the Journal Clinical Periodontology. Iainwas the President of the IADR Periodontal Research Group 2006-7 as well asTreasurer and Secretary General of the European Federation of Periodontology(EFP) and has participated in EFP Workshops since 2008, more recentlyas chair. The website will include further detailed informationabout the Meeting.All daily refreshments will be distributed amongst theexhibition area.HEALTH AND SAFETYWe take the health and safety of our delegates, sponsors,exhibitors and suppliers seriously. A manual will be provided tosponsors & exhibitors closer to the Meeting. This will providefull details around compliance when packing in your display andworking throughout the Meeting. Please note that all electronicequipment plugged in onsite must be tagged and tested.
