This is a meeting of the Board of Education of Branchburg at whichformal action may be taken. The public will have an opportunity to be heard as shown on theAgenda.VI.SUPERINTENDENT’S REPORT VII.Presentation - 2020-2021 School and District GoalsPUBLIC COMMENT – Agenda Items OnlyPublic comments are welcome at this time on any agenda item. Towards the end of themeeting there is a second public forum on any topic. Please state your name and address.Comments are limited to three minutes, but an individual may speak a second time after allothers who wish to speak on the topic have been heard. Please understand that our publicforums are not structured as question and answer sessions, but offered as opportunities toshare your thoughts with the Board. 8E.Monthly Transfer ReportIt is recommended that the Board approve the May 2020 Monthly Transfer Report.F.Resolution Increasing the Bid Threshold - Qualified Purchasing AgentWHEREAS, Theresa Linskey, School Business Administrator/Board Secretarypossesses a Qualified Purchasing Agent (QPA) certificate;WHEREAS, the State Treasurer, in consultation with the Governor and pursuant toN.J.S.A. 52:34-7, and N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-3 (b), has increased the bid threshold amountfor school districts with a Qualified Purchasing Agent, from 40,000 to 44,000,effective July 1, 2020;NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Branchburg Township Board ofEducation, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-3 (a) and N.J.A.C. 5:34-5.4, establishes andsets the bid threshold amount of 44,000 for the Board of Education, and furtherauthorizes Theresa Linskey, the Qualified Purchasing Agent, to award contracts, in fullaccordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-3 (a), for those purchases that do not exceed in theaggregate of the newly established bid threshold amount.G.Approval of Architect Services for the HVAC Upgrades Project atStony Brook SchoolIt is recommended that the Board approve a proposal submitted by SettembrinoArchitects, for the HVAC Upgrades Project at Stony Brook School in the amount of 208,000, plus reimbursable expenses, to be paid by purchase order through Account#12-000-400-450-05-612, and sufficient funds are available in the 2020-2021 budget.H.Approval of Architect Services for the Window Replacement Project atStony Brook SchoolIt is recommended that the Board approve a proposal submitted by SettembrinoArchitects, for the Window Replacement Project at Stony Brook School in the amountof 79,500, plus reimbursable expenses, to be paid by purchase order through Account#12-000-400-450-05-612, and sufficient funds are available in the 2020-2021 budget.I.Approval for Capital Reserve WithdrawalWHEREAS, the Branchburg Board of Education, desires to withdraw from the 20192020 Capital Reserve 76,332.51 for the LED Lighting Project at Branchburg CentralMiddle School.J.Approval of Adoption Agreement #001 Governmental 403(b) Non-Erisa VolumeSubmitter PlanIt is recommended that the Branchburg Township Board of Education execute the403(b) plan adoption agreement.6/23/20
