We reviewed ourprogress with the members at our Summer All Manufacturers meeting. The partnership is proud to host in-class manufacturing presentations to teachers andstudents educating them on the opportunities in the industry. Spring and fall thepartnership coordinates students and manufacturers for a in-site tours seeing what isbeing created locally and educating student on the type of education that matches acareer in manufacturing. Weld, Larimer and Boulder County middle and high schoolshave engaged the partnership to host tours at Thompson Valley,Poudre Valley, Boulder Valley, St. Vrain, and Weld Regional SchoolDistricts. We look forward to hosting tours with Greeley District 6 andEstes Park. Total manufacturers that participated in tours this year 18,total students attended over 480, total schools participated over 13.Note: Tours scheduled for November and December are included in these numbers.Nearly 200 parents and students participated in last year’s event exploringother career pathway options for their kids outside of the traditionalcollege route. We look forward to the 3rd Annual event which will beNovember 15th and hosted at Woodward along with other localmanufacturers and public partners.
