SNOWCON II (Winter Warning) – A warning and alert condition declared by amutual decision between the SRO and USAG Red Cloud Commander when heavysnow is probable. It will be declared when one or more of the following conditionsare met.a) Weather forecasts indicate the potential for intense and/or prolongedsnowfall of 50mm (2 inches) within a 12-hour period. The snowfall isexpected to begin within 24 hours.b) Weather temperature drops to or below -20 F with wind chill. SNOWCON III (Winter Storm) – An alert condition declared by a mutual decisionbetween the SRO and USAG Red Cloud Commander when a winter storm isimminent.
