Global Membership Approach - GMAby PDG Steven VanTolOur District continues with the GMA (GlobalMembership Approach). It is all Lions job to help withthis initiative by increasing membership in our District. Are you doing your part with membership? Have youtalked to anyone about Lions in the past day? Week?Month? Year? If not, why not? We need to sharewith others why we are Lions and what we do in ourcommunity, state and internationally.Lions is the best service organization in theworld. We work hard for no payment other thanthe satisfaction we see in those peoples eyes we havehelped and the thank you we receive.Remember it is every Lion’s job to share the servicewe do and ASK others to join or assist in our efforts.Eleven years ago, I heard a rumor that the Lions arethe best kept secret. Looking at the decrease in ourmembership in the district it seems that is still true.A few clubs have grown in membership, some areholding their own and others losing members. Weneed to look at why. Maybe take some time to reviewthe Member Satisfaction Guide found on the LionsInternational website www.lionsclubs.org. You canfind it by using the search bar on the website. The GMA team meets again on January 18, 2022 at7:00 PM via Zoom to continue working on the project. We can use the help of Lions throughout the Districtand invite to you to our meetings.
