ETIHAD STADIUM ACCESS STATEMENT2019/20 SEASONBUSMETROLINKA number of bus routes run along Ashton NewRoad, stopping directly outside the Etihad Stadium.All buses are low floor vehicles (this means they canbe lowered to pavement level when the bus stops andthe doors open). On most buses the wheelchair rampis positioned at the exit doors. There is enough roomfor one wheelchair user on each bus; supportersshould be aware that buses can get very congestedon matchdays. Most buses run every 4-8 minutesfrom the city centre with an approximate journey timeof 20-minutes. There is a frequent service toand from the Stadium on matchdays, both before andafter the event. The journey time between the EtihadCampus stop and Piccadilly Gardens stop (city centre)is 11-minutes. The journey time between ManchesterPiccadilly Train Station and the Etihad Campus stopis 8-minutes. ETIHAD STADIUM ACCESS STATEMENT2019/20 SEASONCAR PARKINGThe Etihad Stadium is accessible from all majorhighways. As you reach Manchester, follow the signsfor SportCity. The Stadium address for satellitenavigation is: Etihad Stadium, Etihad Campus,Manchester, M11 3FF. Disabled supporters who hold a ‘Blue Badge’ mayapply for complimentary parking on a match bymatch basis, subject to availability. Supporters willneed to supply a copy of their Blue Badge to theClub in advance to qualify for complimentary parking T here are 180 spaces in Orange Tarmac. This islocated approximately 20 metres from the Stadium There are 350 spaces in Blue Car Park H and 55spaces in Blue Car Park G which is located just250 metres from the Stadium ‘Pay on the day’ parking is available in theEtihad Stadium There is a buggy service available from Blue &Orange car parks, subject to availability and stricttimings, to transfer supporters who need assistance.Please note these are under the overall managementof Event Safety Control The buggy service from Orange will depart from adesignated pick/drop off point in the car park anddrop only at designated accessible entrances D, H,S and W. This service will cease 60 minutes prior tokick off due to the increased volume of pedestriansaround the stadium. Post-match the service will notrecommence until at least 30 minutes after finalwhistle and this will be subject to approval on theday by Event Safety Control The buggy service from Blue will depart from adesignated pick up/drop off point in Blue Car Parkto City Square. The service will cease 30 minutesbefore kick-off due to the increased volume ofpedestrians around the stadium. Post-match theservice will not recommence until at least 30 minutesafter final whistle and this will be subject to approvalon the day by Event Safety Control. There are a number of satellite car parks around theStadium. S upporters queue externally and there is acanopy above T here is a level access and non-slip surface aroundthe ticket office and the queuing system is managedon matchday I nduction Loops are available at designatedwindows. These are indicated by signage. Staff are available to help F or away fans the Ticket Office is in the South Stand.Here there are 3 windows with lowered counters,with access to an induction loop O n Non-Event days the Ticket Counter is located onLevel 1 of the City Store, with access to aninduction loop.HOSPITALITY Collections from City@Home, which is located atGate 11 (off Rowsley St) T here are further accessible collection points at theEast Stand Reception and South Stand Receptiondepending on your hospitality package There is an automatic accessible door at City@Homeand the door is also staffed on matchdays There is a lowered counter at City@Home An Induction loop is available Staff are available to help.

If yourequire a quieter period on a matchday we wouldrecommend at least two hours before kick-off and30-minutes after the game. Non matchdays areconsiderably quieter.There are a number of retail options at the Stadiumon matchdays: C ity Store located in City Square is fully accessibleon a flat even surface via automatic double doorswhich are also manned on matchdays There is a lift to the first floor Staff are always available on the shop floor to assist T he aisles are generally wide and large spacesbetween displays Seating is available if required Lighting is balanced and evenly lit around the shop A managed queuing system is used on matchdaysand a lower counter is available. Tills are alsooutward facing A loop system is available on the Ground floorand Level 1 service points T here are small retail units located aroundthe stadium There is a slight threshold to the entrance ofthese units A retail unit located in the reception of the Colin BellStand for hospitality customers There is a level access and non-slip surface outsidethe Colin Bell Stand entrance There is an accessible changing room available.

The area around the stadium has levelaccess and pavements have dropped kerbs andslab paving. There are accessible rest points aroundthe stadium.When walking around the local area on matchday,please stick to the pedestrian footpaths only and avoidwalking in the road, even if the pavement appearscongested. This is particularly important on the AshtonNew Road with the amount of fast moving vehicleson the road.There are five accessible entrances at the EtihadStadium: D, H, M, S and W doors, all of which areclearly sign posted. For supporters located on Levels2 and 3, a lift is available at these entrances. ETIHAD STADIUM ACCESS STATEMENT2019/20 SEASONVIEWING AREASWHEELCHAIR USERS - LEVEL ONEWHEELCHAIR USERS - LEVEL TWO Accessible viewing areas are located in allfour stands of the Etihad Stadium A ccessible viewing areas are located at the backof Level One across all four stands Stewards are easily identified. They will help youlocate your seat and can provide informationabout facilities T here is a Super Riser located in the Family StandLevel one (Block 138 and Block 139) and thepersonal assistant sits alongside the wheelchairuser in this location A ccessible viewing areas are located in theColin Bell Stand and East Stand both for generaladmission, Premium Seats and Hospitality Headsets, which feature full audio descriptivecommentary of matches, can be provided for blindand partially sighted supporters on request. Thisaudio commentary service is provided free of chargeand is available stadium wide; please advise theClub at the time of buying a ticket that you requirethis service. Alternatively, please contact the accessteam at access@mancity.com or call 0161 444 1894(option 1, 2, 2). Supporters with a hearing aid canalso switch to ‘T’ to hear the audio commentarydepending on their location The Stadium roof has an overhang but is consideredan outdoor venue with no roof; supporters at pitchlevel may get wet, as well as those located on theupper levels, dependent on the direction of the wind. W heelchair users of visiting clubs are located on aSuper Riser on Level One of the South Stand withtheir own supporters. T here are visiting supporter wheelchair bays locatedon the Box Level platform immediately above thevisiting supporter section T here are accessible viewing platforms in theSouth-West and South East corners and Box Levelplatform. The personal assistant sits alongside thewheelchair user in this location T he Platinum Boxes located in the North Stand havean allocated wheelchair position in each privateviewing box.

ETIHAD STADIUM ACCESS STATEMENT2019/20 SEASONWHEELCHAIR USERS - LEVEL THREEAMBULANT SUPPORTERS A ccessible viewing areas are located in theColin Bell Stand and East Stand A ll supporters are able to sit anywhere in theEtihad Stadium to enjoy the game, from anyseat they choose T he personal assistant sits immediately in front ofthe wheelchair user at some locations within Level 3 T here are accessible viewing platforms in theSouth-West and South-East corners, Level Three,where the personal assistant sits next to thewheelchair user If for any reason, any supporter feels they have morespecific seating requirements (a certain area, blockor row) they should contact the Access Team todiscuss their requirements in more detail T he upper tiers are very steep and we wouldtherefore discourage any supporter who would beunable to exit the stadium quickly in the event of anemergency from purchasing tickets in these areas There are handrails located on the aisle seats ofthe stadium seating on Level Two and Level Threeto assist when entering and exiting the stadium bowl There are rest seats located both outside the stadiumand on the internal concourses on Level Two andLevel Three, stadium wide.

ETIHAD STADIUM ACCESS STATEMENT2019/20 SEASONACCESSIBLE TOILETS T here are 42 wheelchair accessible toilets; 16 toiletson Level One, 20 toilets on Level Two and 6 toiletson Level Three A Changing Places facility is located in Level 1 ofthe South Stand, in Block 119. The changing placesfacility contains a hoist, shower, height adjustablesink and changing bed. Please note that the hoistis only compatible with a loop sling and supporterswill need to bring this with them. Contact the AccessTeam for more information about how to access thefacility on matchday A ccessible toilets are found at regular intervalsthroughout the stadium There is a lower counter facility; 850mm/33.5 inchesat each concession A ll toilets are fitted with RADAR locks and keys,the supporter can use their own key or contacta nearby stewards The accessible viewing platforms located on theBox Platform, South-West and South-East cornerson Level Two do not have direct access to theconcourse. Food and drink orders will be takenup to 15-minutes before kick-off (for servicebefore kick-off) and up to five minutes after kick-off(for half-time service) Every concourse toilet facility has one cubicle that issuitable for ambulant supporters There is no alarm fitted at floor level. T he accessible viewing platforms located on theBox Platform, South-West and South-East cornerson Level Two do not have direct access to theconcourse. Accessible toilets are accessible eitheron the Box Level corridor or there are facilitiesadjacent to Legends S upporters located on the accessible viewingplatform in the South-West and South Eastcorners,Level Three, can access the accessibletoilets located on either the Colin Bell Stand orEast Stand, Level Three Food and drink will be delivered to the seat approx.15-mins after the order has been placed or at thestart of half-time if ordered beforehand. Upper tiers have EvacChairs available W e welcome assistance dogs and water bowls canbe provided on request. Orientation visits can bearranged via the Access Team. There is no dedicateddog relieving area available W e provide storage for wheelchair and small mobilityaids for those who are able to transfer to their seatand require their wheelchairs or small mobility aidsto be stored whilst the game is in play S ignage around the Stadium is dark blue ona light background and pictograms are usedwhere possible T o bring medication or medical equipment into theground – please email the Access Team ataccess@mancity.com with details of your currentmedication or equipment and any support you mayrequire for the duration of your visit with us T oilets require RADAR keys, a number of stewardsin the accessible areas will be on hand to assist W e would ask that you advise the Club if you areto be accompanied by a personal assistant who isunder the age of 16 at any time as this will ensurethat the stewards in your area are aware shouldthere be an emergency at any time ‘ Winter packs’ are available for supporters bycontacting the Access Team.
