The Primary Academy is led and managed by an experienced Head of School. Job Purpose The postholder will work under the direct supervision of the Financial ControlManager processing transactions utilising the Trust’s finance software, ensuring thatthe accounting reports reflect an accurate picture of the Trust’s financial position. The postholder will analyse and interrogate the financial data to ensure accuracyand provide useful and relevant information to stakeholders as requested.General Responsibilities Support the overall Christian ethos of the Trust. Demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding children. Provide first aid assistance to staff, students and visitors. Be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection,health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection, copyright etc.reporting all concerns to line manager. Regular production of statutory reports, tax reports (including monthly VAT return),reports to the DFE/EFA and other ad hoc reports as directed.Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register, ensuring depreciation, additions and disposalsare correctly accounted for.Update and manage the asset management software, ensuring any changes arecorrectly and promptly recorded.
