ADDITIONALPROGRAMS FORINTERNATIONALSTUDENTSSTUDENT SUCCESSPATHWAY PROGRAMCreated for first-time freshmen, thisone-year program helps studentsdevelop the academic and Englishlanguage skills needed to succeedat CSUN. Participants receiveat least 15 units of transferableacademic credits, integrated classeswith American students, and aCSUN student ID, which providesaccess to campus-wide facilities.ADDITIONALPROGRAMSIf you maintain a GPA of 2.0 orbetter and meet the university’sEnglish-proficiency admissionrequirements, you can receivepreapproved admission to CSUN.Receiving a C- or better in LING113B satisfies CSUN’s Englishproficiency admission requirement.SEMESTER AT CSUNThis study-abroad programwelcomes international studentsto experience CSUN for one ortwo semesters. SAC participantsreceive academic advisementand attend classes for creditwith American students. IEP start dates arein January, March, June, August andOctober, and programs are 8, 16 and24 weeks long. CUSTOMIZEDCONTRACTEDPROGRAMSCSUN also creates custom programs forinternational groups, ranging from twoweeks to two months and covering mostfields of study.
