She graduatedfrom UTEP in1990 with a bachelor’s degree in businessadministration. She made partner at PwC in2004 and was later appointed as the firm’sU.S. Diversity Leader from 2011-16, whereshe reported to the company’s U.S. CEOand served on the U.S. leadership team.Currently, Castañón Moats serves as thefirst woman and first Hispanic to hold herposition at PwC and recently claimed theNo. 2 spot on Fortune magazine’s inaugurallist of the 50 Most Powerful Latinas.Maria Castañón Moats nació en Juárez,creció en El Paso y en 1990 se graduóde UTEP con una Licenciatura enAdministración de Empresas. Cintron earned hisbachelor’s degree in industrial engineeringfrom UTEP in 1983 and returned to theCuando Jacob Cintron tenía 17 añosdesempeñó todo tipo de funciones en elDepartamento de Ingeniería del HospitalThomason, actualmente Centro MédicoUniversitario (UMC, por sus siglas eninglés).
