We have other volunteers whose hardwork has been instrumental. It is reallyimportant we continue to get new membersto come help out so we can continue to runsuccessful programs like the Junior PheasantHunt and maintain our club range.”The TSC has made a Facebook page for theevent and will be offering daily specials andprizes you can only claim from marking yourstatus as “going” to the event. The match consisted of 11challenging stages and boasted some of the topJeremiah Morris had this to say about the shirts,shooters from all over California.“We looked pretty professional up there in ourmatching shirts. All of us were on the same squadIn order to spread the word about the quality IDPAprogram that TSC runs as Taft IDPA, Josh Houseand it really turned some heads. We all had a greattime at the match.”

Juniors alwaysshoot for free and adults are only 20 or 15 withclub membership.We shoot every 4th Saturday at 9 AM so don’t missWeekly Trap Shoots – Thursdays at 4:30 PM.With the recent time change, the trap program isback into full swing. Come on out and enjoy thenice weather and longer days perfect for shooting around of trap.Trap shootersstepping up to theline to shoot at theweekly Trap Shoot.The cost is 5 for members and 6 for nonmembers, per round. Juniors always shoot for free.Just bring out your shotgun and your ammo andhave a great time.International Defensive Pistol Association – 3rd SaturdaysTaft IDPA shoots on the third Saturday of the monthevery month. Show up for registration at 8:30 AMand shooting starts at 9 AM.Cost is 25 for non-members, 20 for IDPA or TSCmembers, or 15 for members of both or forshooters with military ID. Juniors and first timeladies shoot for free and get free ammo!To participate all you need is a handgun, threemagazines, holsters, and about 100 rounds ofammo.
