The quality of IIM Trichy’s pedagogy is second to none with all our facultyholding PhD/Fellow qualification from institutions in India and abroad that are reputed all over the world. We currently have 32 full timefaculty members and visiting faculty from the industry and other management institutes in the roster. List of other ProgrammesFellow Programme in Management (FPM)FPM is the full-time, residential doctoral programme of IIM Tiruchirappalli.The programme aims to provide rigorous, worldclass, interdisciplinarytraining in all areas of business management that will equip students withthe ability to conduct cutting edge research. Doctoral students specializein several disciplines(areas) of management.Executive Education and Consultancy (EEC)Post Graduate Programme in Business Management (PGPBM)PGPBM is a 24 months programme for working executives offered at IIMTrichy’s Chennai centre. Launched in 2012, the Post Graduate Programmein Business Management (PGPBM) caters to the working executives whoaspire to equip themselves with formal management education andmove into senior leadership roles. Executives with at least three yearsof full-time work experience are eligible to apply for the programme. Centre for Corporate Governance and Social Responsibility(CCG & SR)IIM Trichy launched the Centre for Corporate Governance on the 13th ofJune, 2014. The main objective of the centre is conducting and promotingresearch in the area of corporate governance. The centre plans to carryout various research activities including organizing an annual conference,initiating and coordinating research projects, and arranging researchseminars and workshops. In the long term, the CCG aims to conductcapacity building activities in the area of corporate governance policythrough advocacy and intervention. Through this centre, IIM Trichy aimsto spread awareness about good corporate governance practicesCARDSCenter for Applied Research in Data Science (CARDS) is one of the centersof excellence at IIM Trichy. CARDS was inaugurated on 21 August 2019and is offering training and certificate programs in various domains ofdata science for executives across public and private sectors. In addition,this center undertakes projects on emerging technologies namelyBlockchain, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things among others fornational/regional policymaking. In long term, CARDS aims to becomea leading research center to transform data into intelligence. Campus &FacilitiesThe permanent campus of IIM Trichy was inaugurated on 3rd April, 2017by Shri Prakash Javadekar, Minister Human Resource Development,Government of India. Each classroom has two separate projectors todisplay study materials effectively and encourage discussion and peerlearning. Classroom capacities range from 25-250. The AcademicBlockhouses have classrooms of varying capacities: 25-seater,50-seater and 80-seater, along with 120-seater and 250-seater capacityto cater to large audiences. The campus also provides 24X7 powersupply and Wi-Fi facilities. Hostel rooms are air-conditioned duringnon-academic hours. The permanent campus is also differentlyabled friendly. There are special provisions like Braille signage, earmarked toilets, designated parking spots and, auditory signals andBraille symbols in elevators. There are also ramps and pathwaysbuilt to facilitate ease of movement. The campus is designed to beself-sustainable as well as water and energy-efficient. LearningResourceCentre(LRC)The Learning Resource Centre is a source of information and knowledge for the students and faculty of IIMTrichy. The LRC has access to a wide variety of research resources, both on and off-campus. It subscribesto a number of company, industry, country databases and scholarly articles. Statistical tools and SimulationSoftware make advanced and detailed research possible. LRC subscribes to Caplitaline, Insight, Euromonitor,Thomson Reuters Eikon, Prowess, Crisil, and IndiaStat, among others, for data on companies and industries.The Statistical tools available are IBM SPSS, IBM SPSS Modeler, STATA and the Decision Tools Suite.
