Get to Knowthe PSAT 8/9and PSAT/NMSQTIt measures:TM What you learn in high school What you need to succeed in college The test measures reading, writing and language, and math skillsdeveloped over many years, both in and out of school. The test does not ask you to recall facts from literature, history, orscience, or to complete math formulas, because it measures yourreasoning and critical thinking skills. You don’t have to discover secret tricks or cram the night before. There is no penalty for guessing. The PSAT 8/9 assessment is 2 hours, 25 minutes. The PSAT/NMSQT length is 2 hours, 45 minutes.2
