The Makhaarij of Letters ﳐﺎرج اﳊﺮوف Reciting the Holy Quran with Tajweed means to pronounceevery letter with its articulative qualities such as the correctprolongation, merging, conversion, distinctness and pauses.Reciting the Quran with Tajweed allows the reciter toemphasize the accent, phonetics, rhythm and temper of theQuranic recitation.The place where sound of a letter emanates is calledMakhraj.Singular: MakhrajPlural:Makhaarij َﳐ ْ َﺮ ْج َﳐَﺎ ِر ْج The 29 letters of the Arabic Alphabet are pronounced from17 Makhaarij. To know the exact Makhraj of a letter, itshould be spoken in the state of Sukoon, whilst preceded byan Alif with a zabar (fathah) according to the rules givenbelow. The place where sound ends in the followingexamples is the Makhraj. ا َ ْب will show the Makhraj of ب ش ْ َ ا will show the Makhraj of ش 4BaaSheen

Place of Origin ﻣﻘﺎم ﳐﺮج Are pronounced from theemptiness of the mouth. Theseare called the Huroof ofHawaiyyah.Names ﲰﺎءاﳊﺮوف ُ ا َ ا َ ْﳊ ُ ُﺮ ْو ُف ا ْﳍ َ َﻮا ّﺋﻴ َﺔ Letters اﳊﺮوف ا و ی Are pronounced from AqsalHalaq (the bottom of the throatnear the chest).These are called the Huroof ofHalqiyyah.Are pronounced from theHalaq (Middle of the throat).These are called the Huroof ofHalqiyyah.َ ا َ ْﳊ ُ ُﺮ ْو ُف ا ْﳊَﻠْﻘِ ّﻴ َﺔ ﻩ َ ا َ ْﳊ ُ ُﺮ ْو ُف ا ْﳊَﻠْﻘِ ّﻴ َﺔ ح ع Are pronounced from theAndal Halaq (part of thethroat nearest to the mouth).These are called the Huroof ofHalqiyyah.Are pronounced with theraising of the back end of thetongue and touching the softpalate). These are called theHuroof of Hawiyan.Are pronounced when sides ofthe tongue touch the palate.These letters are called theHuroof of Shajriyyah. HereYaa is without a Maad (MaadLean).Is pronounced when theupturned side or sides of thetongue touches the gums of theupper back teeth. This letter iscalled Harf of Duad.َ ا َ ْﳊ ُ ُﺮ ْو ُف ا ْﳊَﻠْﻘِ ّﻴ َﺔ خ غ ِ َ ﺎن اﻟﻠّ َﻬْ ِﻮﻳ ِ َ ا َ ْﳊ َ ْﺮﻓ ﺎن قک ِ َ ا َ ْﳊ َ ْﺮﻓ َ ﺎن اﻟ ّ َﺸ ْﺠ ِﺮ ّﻳ َﺔ جش ی ا َ ْﳊ ُ ْﺮ ُف َض ض 5

Laam is pronounced when thetip of the tongue together withany one side, while risingtoward the palate touches thegums of theupper 2 frontteeth. ا َ ْﳊ ُ ُﺮ ْو ُف اﻟ ُّﺬو ﻟَﻘِ ّﻴ َ ِﺔ ن Noon is pronounced like laam.The only difference is that thetongue will only touch thegums of the front teeth and willnot touch the last teeth.The Makhraj of raa is verynear the Makhraj of letternoon. The difference is that inpronouncing it the side of thetongue up to the end will touchthe gums of the teeth.Are pronounced with the tip ofthe tongue touching gums ofthe upper 2 teeth. These lettersare known as the Huroof ofNitiyyah.Are pronounced with the tip ofthe tongue touching the edge ofthe Upper 2 front teeth. Theseletters are known as Huroof ofLithawiyyah.Are pronounced with the tip ofthe tongue touching the edge ofthe lower 2 front teeth, andlightly touching the upper twoteeth too. These letters areknown as Huroof of Asaliyyahbecause of the whistling soundproduced when saying them. ل ر َ ا َ ْﳊ ُ ُﺮ ْو ُف اﻟ ِﻨّ ِﻄ ّﻴ َﺔ ت د ط ا َ ْﳊ ُ ُﺮ ْو ُف اﻟﻠِّﺜ َ ِﻮ ّﻳ َ ِﺔ ثذظ ا َ ْﳊ ُ ُﺮ ْو ُف ا ْﻟﻼ َ َﺳﻠِ ّﻴ َ َﺔ زسص 6

Are pronounced from the lips.But with a slight differenceamong the three. Baa ispronounced from the moistpart of the lips, whereas meemis pronounced from the dryparts of the lips. Wao ispronounced with the partialmeeting of the lips. Theseletters are called the Huroof ofShafawiyyah.Is pronounced when the innerportion of the bottom lip meetsthe end of the upper two frontteeth. This is called Harf Faa.َ ا َ ْﳊ ُ ُﺮ ْو ُف اﻟ َّﺸ َﻔ ِﻮ ّﻳ َﺔ بمو ا َ ْﳊ ُ ْﺮ ُف َف ف ُﻏﻨَّﺔ Is pronounced from the nose.This is called Ghunna.7

Qalqala ﻗﻠﻘﻠہ This is a quality which when pronounced, appears to havean echoing sound, when the letter is Saakin. Care should betaken that such echoing sounds do not go to the extent offorming any Harkat, that is, Zabar (fathah), Zer (Kasrah),Pesh (Dummah), and Shaddah (Tashdeed).This quality is found in five letters.( ) ُﻗ ْﻄﺐ َﺟ ٍ ّﺪ ُ Care should be taken when reciting, not to jerk the letter tothe extent that it sounds as if it has a Fathah on it. ﺳﻮرہ / آﻳﺖ 7-12 ا ﻵﻳﺖ ِ ﻣ ﻚ ﺗ ﺮ ا ذ ﺎل ا َﻧَﺎ َﺧ ۡﲑٌ ِّﻣﻨۡ ُ ۚﻪ ﻗ ََََُؕۡ َ ﺎل َﻣﺎ َﻣﻨَﻌ ۡ َ ﻚ ا ََّﻻ ﺗَ ۡﺴ ُﺠ َﺪ ا ََ َ ﻗ ِۡ َ َﺧﻠ َ ۡﻘت ٍ ۡ ﲎ ِﻣ ۡﻦ ﻧَّﺎ ٍر َّو َﺧﻠ َ ۡﻘﺘ َ ٗﻪ ِﻣ ۡﻦ ِﻃ ﲔ 12. He (Allah) said: “What prevented youthat you did not prostrate when Icommanded you.” He said: “I am betterthan him. You created me from fire andhim You created from clay.”8 اﳊﺮف ۡق

37-10َِ اِ َّﻻ َﻣ ۡﻦ َﺧ ِﻄ َﻒ ا ۡﳋ َ ۡﻄ َﻔﺔَ ﻓَﺎَﺗۡﺒﻌَ ٗﻪ ﺎب ﺛَﺎﻗِﺐ ﻬ ﺷ ٌ ۡط َو اِ ۡذ ُﻗﻠۡﻨَﺎ ﻟِﻠ ۡ َﻤﻠ ٰٓ ِٮٕ َﻜ ِﺔ ۡاﺳ ُﺠ ُﺪ ۡوا ِﻻٰدَ َم ﻓَ َﺴ َﺠ ُﺪ ۡوٓا اِ َّﻻ ۤاِﺑۡﻠِيۡ َﺲۙ ا َٰﰉ ِِ ﻳ ﻣ ﻔ ﻜ ﻟ ِۡ ﻦ ﺮ ا ﻦ ََٰ َو ۡاﺳﺘ َ ۡﻜ ََۡ ﺎن َ َ َوك ﱪ ۡب ٌَ10. Except him who snatches (some words)by theft, then follows him a flame,piercing.2-3424. And when We said to the angels:“Prostrate before Adam,” so theyprostrated, except Iblis. He refused, andwas arrogant, and he became of thedisbelievers.37-19 ﺪ ٌة ﻓَﺎِذَا ُﻫﻢ ﻳَﻨۡ ُﻈ ُﺮ ۡون َ ﻓَﺎِ َّﳕﺎ ِ َزَ ۡﺟ َﺮ ٌة َّوا ِﺣ ََۡ19. So it will be only one shout, thenbehold they will be seeing.67-5 اﻟﺴ َﻤﺂءَ اﻟ ُّﺪﻧۡﻴَﺎ ِﲟَ َﺼﺎﺑِﻴ ۡ َﺢ َو َﺟﻌَﻠۡﻨٰﻬَﺎ ُر ُﺟ ۡﻮﻣًﺎ َّ َوﻟـ َﻘَ ۡﺪ زَﻳَّـﻨَّﺎ ِِِ ۡ ِ اﻟﺴﻌ َِ ﲑ ﲔ ﻄ ﻴ ﺬ ﻢ ﳍ ﺎ ﻧ ﺪ ﺘ َﻋ ا و ﺸ ﻠ ََََّّّۡ اب َ َ ۡ ُ َۡ َ ۡ ٰ ﻟ 5. And indeed, We have adorned theworld’s heaven with lamps (stars), and Wehave made them a means of driving awaydevils. And We have prepared for them9 ۡج ۡد

the punishment of the blazing Fire.When a stop is made at the end of the sentences, the rule ofQalqala will apply. The last letter becomes Saakinirrespective of the vowel sign, thus resulting in the Qalqalaletter being read with an echoing or jerking sound. ﺳﻮرہ / آﻳﺖ 37-5 ا ﻵﻳﺖ ﻟﺴ ٰﻤﻮ ٰ ِت َو ۡاﻻ َ ۡر ِض َو َﻣﺎ ﺑَيۡﻨ َ ُﻬ َﻤﺎ َو َر ُّب َّ َّر ُّب ا ؕ ﺸﺎ ِر ِق َ َ ۡ اﳌ 5. Lord of the heavens and the earth andwhatever is between them, and Lord ofthe sun’s risings.11-70 اﳊﺮف ۡق ﻓَﻠ َ َّﻤﺎ َرا ٰ ۤا َﻳۡ ِﺪﻳ َ ُﻬ ۡﻢ َﻻ ﺗَ ِﺼ ُﻞ اِﻟَﻴ ۡ ِﻪ ﻧ َ ِﻜ َﺮ ُﻫ ۡﻢ َو ا َۡو َﺟ َﺲ ِﻣﻨۡ ُﻬ ۡﻢ ط ؕ ٍ ِﺧﻴۡﻔَﺔً ؕ ﻗَﺎﻟ ُ ۡﻮا َﻻ َﲣ َ ۡﻒ اِﻧَّﺎ ۤاُ ۡر ِﺳﻠۡﻨَﺎ ۤاِ ٰﱃ ﻗَ ۡﻮ ِم ﻟ ُ ۡﻮ ۡط َِ اِ َّﻻ َﻣ ۡﻦ َﺧ ِﻄ َﻒ ا ۡﳋ َ ۡﻄ َﻔﺔَ ﻓَﺎ َ ۡﺗﺒﻌَ ٗﻪ ﺎب ﺛَﺎﻗِﺐ ﻬ ﺷ ٌ ۡب 70. Then when he saw their hands notreaching to it, he mistrusted them andconceived a fear of them. They said: “Fearnot, indeed, we have been sent to thepeople of Lot.”37-10ٌَ10. Except him who snatches (some10

words) by theft, then follows him a flame,piercing.50-7ِ �ﻬَﺎ روَاﯽﺳ َواَﻧۡۢﺒَتۡﻨَﺎ ﻓِﻴۡﻬَﺎ ِﻣ ۡﻦ كُ ّ ِﻞ ٰ ۡ َوﻻَۡرۡضَ ﻣَﺪَد َ ﺞ ٍۙ ۡ زَ ۡو ٍۢج ﺑ َ ِﻬﻴ 7. And the earth We spread out, and Weset in it firm mountains, and We caused togrow in it (things) of every beautiful kind.37-7 ۚ َّﻣﺎ ِر ٍد ٍ َو ِﺣ ۡﻔ ًﻈﺎ ِّﻣ ۡﻦ كُ ّ ِﻞ َﺷﻴ ۡ ٰﻄﻦ 7. And as guard against every rebelliousdevil.11 ۡج ۡد

Noon and Meem MushaddahA letter with shaddahّ( ) ﻧﻮن اور ﻣﻴﻢ ﻣﺸ ّﺪہ on it is called Mushaddad.Example: Noon Mushaddad ّن ّم Meem MushaddadThey will be recited with Ghunna. ﺳﻮرہ / آﻳﺖ ا ﻵﻳﺖ ﺐ ۙ ِ اﻟﺴﻤﺂءَ اﻟ ُّﺪﻧۡﻴﺎ ﺑِ ِﺰﻳۡﻨ َ ِﺔ اۨﻟۡﻜَﻮا ِﻛ َ اِﻧ َّﺎ زَﻳَّﻨَّﺎ 37-6َََ ّ6. Indeed, We have adorned the nearestheaven with ornament, the stars. ّن ٍ َو َﻻ َ ۡﲢ َﺰ ۡن َﻠَﻴ ۡ ِﻬ ۡﻢ َو َﻻ ﺗَ ُﻜ ۡﻦ ِﰱۡ َﺿﻴۡﻖ ّم َو ﻟَﻘَ ۡﺪ َﺧﻠ َ ۡﻘﻨ ٰ ُﻜ ۡﻢ ُﺛ َّﻢ َﺻ َّﻮ ۡرﻧ ٰ ُﻜ ۡﻢ ُﺛ َّﻢ ؕ َ ۡ ﻓَ َﺴ َﺠ ُﺪ ۡوۤا اِ َّﻻ ۤ اِﺑۡﻠِي ۖ ۡاﺳ ُﺠ ُﺪ ۡوا ِﻻَدَ َم ﺲ ّم ً ََ21. Indeed, Hell is a place of ambush. ﻜ ُﺮ ۡون ُ ۡ ِّﳑ َّﺎ َﳝ َ70. And do not grieve over them, nor be indistress because of what they plot (againstyou).7-11 ُﻗﻠۡﻨَﺎ ﻟِﻠ ۡ َﻤﻠ ٰ ۤ ِٮٕ َﻜ ِﺔ ﻟ َ ۡﻢ ﻳ َ ُﻜ ۡﻦ ِّﻣ َﻦ ّن ۙ ﺖ ِﻣ ۡﺮﺻﺎدا َۡ اِ َّن َﺟﻬَﻨَّﻢ كَﺎﻧ 78-2127-70 اﳊﺮف 12

ﻦ َۡ ﻟﺴٰ ِﺠ ِﺪﻳ ّ11. And surely, We created you, then Wefashioned you, then We said to the angels:“Fall prostrate before Adam.” So they fellprostrate except Iblis. He was not of thosewho prostrated.13

Letter Laam ﺣﺮف اﻻم When a letter with a Zabar (Fathah) or Pesh (Dummah)appears before the word ALLAH, the Laams in the wordAllah will be pronounced with a full mouth. ﺳﻮرہ / آﻳﺖ 57-5ٰ ﻟ ُّ ﻟٰ َرﻓَﻌَ ُﻪ ُّ َ ا ََراد ا ﻵﻳﺖ ِ ّ ﻟﺴﻤﻮ ِت و ۡاﻻَر ِضؕ واِ َﱃ اﻻُ ُﻣ ۡﻮر ۡ ﻟٰ ُﺗ ۡﺮ َﺟ ُﻊ ُ ۡ ﻟ َ ٗﻪ ﻣﻠ ٰ َّ ﻚ ا ََُۡ ُٰ5. His is the dominion of the heavens andthe earth. And unto Allah all matters arebrought back.57-11 اﻪﻠﻟَٰﻗَ ۡﺮ ًﺿﺎ َﺣ َﺴﻨًﺎ ﻓَﻴُ ٰﻀﻌِ َﻔ ٗﻪ ﻟ َ ٗﻪ َو ﻟ َ ٗۤﻪ ّ َّﻣ ۡﻦ ذَا اﻟ َّ ِﺬ ۡى ﻳُ ۡﻘ ِﺮ ﺟ ۚ ﻛ ِﺮﻳۡﻢ ﺮ َۡ َ ا ٌٌ اﳊﺮﮐہ - َ- ُ11. Who is it that will lend to Allah agoodly loan, then He may double it forhim, and for him is a noble reward.If before the word ALLAH, a letter with a Zer (Kasrah)appears, then both the Laams in Allah are pronounced withan empty mouth.ِ ّ ﺑِﺴ ِﻢ ٰ ﻟ ْ14ِ ّ ﺑِﺎ ٰ ﻟ

ﺳﻮرہ / آﻳﺖ 57-7 ا ﻵﻳﺖ ِ ّ ا ٰ ِﻣﻨُﻮا ِۡ َ ﻪﻠﻟٰ ورﺳﻮﻟ ِ ٖﻪ واَﻧ ۡ ِﻔ ُﻘﻮا ِﳑَّﺎ َﺟﻌَﻠَـ ُﻜﻢ ُّﻣﺴﺘ َ ۡﺨﻠ ؕ ﲔ ﻓِﻴ ۡ ِﻪ ﻔ ۡ َ ََُۡۡۡ َِِۡ ﻳ ﺟ َ ﻘ ﻔ ﻧ ﻨ ﻣ ﻛﺒِ ۡﲑ ﺮ ا ﻢ ﳍ ا ﻮ ا و ﻢ ﻜ ﻨ ﻣ ا ﻮ ا ﻦ ﺬ ََََّٰۡ ﻓَﺎﻟ ٌَََُُُُۡۡۡۡۡ ۡ َ ٌۡ اﳊﺮﮐہ 7. Believe in Allah and His Messenger andspend of that He has made you successorwhereof. So those who believe among youand spend, for them is a great reward.4-35ِِِ ﺎق ﺑَيۡ ِﻨ ِﻬ َﻤﺎ ﻓَﺎﺑۡﻌَﺜُ ۡﻮا َﺣ َﻜ ًﻤﺎ ِّﻣ ۡﻦ ا َ ۡﻫﻠِ ٖﻪ َو ﻘ ﺷ ﻢ ﺘ ﻔ ﺧ ن ََۡ ۡ ُ ۡ َوا ِّ ﺣ َﻜﻤﺎ ِﻣﻦ ا َ ۡﻫﻠِﻬﺎۚاِن ﻳُّ ِﺮﻳ َﺪا ۤ اِﺻﻠٰﺤﺎﻳُّﻮﻓ اﻪﻠﻟٰ ﺑَيۡﻨ َ ُﻬ َﻤﺎؕ اِ َّن ُّ َ ً ۡ ۡ ۡ َ ۡ ّ ً َ ﻟٰ كَﺎن َﻠِﻴﻤﺎ َﺧﺒِ ۡﲑا ً ًۡ َ َِّ - ِ - 35. And if you fear a dissension betweenthem twain, then appoint an arbitratorfrom his family and an arbitrator fromher family. If they (arbitrators) desirereconciliation, Allah will make betweenthem. Indeed Allah is ever All Knower,Well Acquainted.However, the Laam Mushaddadmouth. ﺳﻮرہ / آﻳﺖ ا ﻵﻳﺖ 15 ّل is read with empty اﳊﺮف

2-160ۚ ِﻚ ا َ ُﺗ ۡﻮ ُب َﻠَﻴ ۡ ِﻬ ۡﻢ َ ٕٓ اِ َّﻻ اﻟ َّ ِﺬﻳ ۡ َﻦ ﺗَﺎﺑُ ۡﻮا َو ا َ ۡﺻﻠ َ ُﺤ ۡﻮا َو ﺑَيَّﻨُ ۡﻮا ﻓَﺎُوﻟ ٰٮ وا َﻧَﺎ اﻟﺘَّ َﻮاب اﻟ َّﺮ ِﺣﻴﻢ َُ ُّۡ ّل اﻻَذَﻟ ِ ّ ۡﲔ َّ اﻟَّﺬِﻳۡﻦَ ﳛَُﺂ ۡ ِﻚ ِﰱ َ ٕٓ دُّوۡنَ اﻪﻠﻟٰ ورﺳ ۡﻮﻟ َ ٗۤﻪ اُوﻟ ٰٮ ّ ّل ﻟٰ اِ َّن ؕ ِ ّ ﻓَﺎَﻳۡﻨ َ َﻤﺎ ُﺗ َﻮﻟ ُّ ۡﻮا ﻓَﺜ َ َّﻢ َو ۡﺟ ُﻪ َو ِٰ ّ ِ اﳌۡ َ ۡﺸ ِﺮ ُق َو اﳌۡ َﻐۡ ِﺮ ُب ﻟٰ وا ِﺳ ٌﻊ َﻠِﻴﻢ ٌََّۡ ّل َوﻟ ِ ُك ّ ٍﻞ ِّو ۡﺟﻬَ ٌﺔ ُﻫ َﻮ ُﻣ َﻮﻟِ ّﻴۡﻬَﺎۚ ﻓَﺎ ۡﺳتَﺒِ ُﻘﻮا ا ۡﳋ َ ۡﲑ ٰ ِتؕ اَﻳۡ َﻦ َﻣﺎ ﺗَ ُﻜ ۡﻮﻧ ُ ۡﻮا ِِِ ُﻞِّ ﻰﺷ ٍء ﻗ َ ِﺪﻳ ۡ ٌﺮ ٰ َ َٰ ﻟ ن ا ؕ ﺎ ﻌ ﻴ ٰ ﻜُﻢُ اﻪﻠﻟ ۡتِ ﺑ ﲨ َََّۡ ّ ًۡ ُّ ّل 160. Except those who repent and correctthemselves, and make manifest (the truth).Then those, I will accept their repentance.And I am the One who accepts repentance,the Merciful.58-20ََََُ20. Indeed, those who oppose Allah andHis Messenger, such will be among thosemost humiliated.2-115115. And to Allah belong the east and thewest. So wherever you turn, there is theFace of Allah. Indeed, Allah is AllEncompassing, All Knowing.2-14816

148. And to each there is a direction, heturns to it, so hasten towards what is good.Wherever you may be, Allah will bring youall together. Indeed, Allah has power overall things.17

Meem Saakin ﻣﻴﻢ ﺳﺎﮐﻦ There are three rules regarding the Meem Saakin ( ).IkhfaIzhaarIdghaamIkhfa Shafawee - Meem SaakinWhen the letter Baa ( ) appears after Meem Saakin ( ),there will be an Ikhfa. That is, it will be pronounced with alight sound in the nose for the duration of 2 harakat (2-3seconds). ﺳﻮرہ / آﻳﺖ 34-8 ا ﻵﻳﺖ ِ ّ َ َ ا َ ۡﻓ َﱰى ﻟٰ َﻛ ِﺬﺑًﺎ ا َ ۡم ﺑِ ٖﻪ ِﺟﻨَّ ٌﺔ ؕ ﺑ َ ِﻞ اﻟ َّ ِﺬﻳ ۡ َﻦ َﻻ ِِِِٰ ﺧ ﻨ ﻣ ﻳ َِِِ ﻞ اﻟۡﺒﻌِﻴ ِﺪ ﻠ اب ﺬ ﻌ اﻟ ﰱ ة ﺮ ن ﻮ اﻟﻀ و ﺎﻻ ﺑ ﺆ َََََُُّٰٰۡۡۡۡۡ َ8. “Has he invented against Allah alie, or is there madness in him.” Butthose who do not believe in theHereafter will be in punishment andfar error.Izhar - Meem Saakin اﳊﺮف ۡم ب If after Meem Saakin ( ), there appears any one of the 2618

letters except the letters Baa ( ) and Meem ( ), therewill be Izhaar. That is, there will be no Ghunna. ﺳﻮرہ / آﻳﺖ 34-45 ا ﻵﻳﺖ َِِِِ ﻣ ﻳ َ ـﻐ ﻠ ﺑ ۤ ﺎر َﻣﺎ ِ ﺸ ﻌ ﻣ ا ﻮ ﺎ ﻣ و ۙ ﻢ ﻬ ﻠ ﺒ ﻗ ﻦ ﻦ ﺬ ب اﻟ ﺬ َََََُّۡۡۡۡ ََ ۡ ََۡ ّ َ َوﻛ ﺳ َِ ۡ ﺎن ﻧ َ ِﻜ ِ ﺑ ﲑ ك ر ا ﻮ ﻒ ﻴ ﻜ ﻓ ﺬ َََََُُۡ ۡ ُ ۡ ّ اٰﺗَيۡﻨ ٰ ُﻬ ۡﻢ ﻓَ َﻜ 45. And those before them denied, andthese (people) have not attained atenth of what We had given them (ofold), yet they denied My messengers.Then how (terrible) was My denial. اﳊﺮف ۡم و Any of the26 lettersexcept theletters Baaand MeemIdghaam - Meem SaakinIf after Meem Saakin ( ), there appears another ( ), thenthere will be Idghaam, that is the two Meems will beincorporated and be read with Ghunna, (nasalization). ﺳﻮرہ / آﻳﺖ 16-57 ا ﻵﻳﺖ ِّٰ و َﳚۡﻌَﻠُﻮن َ َ ۡ َ ﺸﺘ َ ُﻬ ۡﻮن ۡ َ ِ اﻟۡﺒـﻨ ٰ ِﺖ ﺳﺒﺤﻨ َ ٗۙﻪ و َﳍﻢ َّﻣﺎ ﻳ َُۡ َ ٰ ُۡ57. And they assign daughters forAllah. Be He glorified. And forthemselves what they desire.19 اﳊﺮف ۡم م

Ikhfa-Noon Saakin/Tanween اﺧﻔﺎ ﻧﻮن ﺳﺎﮐﻦ اور ﺗﻨﻮﻳﻦ Ikhfa means to pronounce a letter with a very light sound inthe nose. There are 15 letters of Ikhfa. If any one of themcomes after Noon Saakin ( ) or Tanween ( ), it shouldbe pronounced with the quality of Ikhfa. Ikhfa letters are: ﺳﻮرہ / آﻳﺖ 5-118 ا ﻵﻳﺖ ََ ّ ك َواِ ۡن ﺗَﻐۡ ِﻔ ۡﺮ َﳍ ُ ۡﻢ ﻓَﺎِﻧ ﻚ ۚ َ ُ ۡﻢ ِﻋﺒ َ ُﺎد َّ ِ اِ ۡن ُﺗﻌَ ِ ّﺬﺑۡ ُﻬ ۡﻢ ﻓَﺎ ِ ﺖ اﻟۡﻌَﺰِﻳۡ ُﺰ ا ۡﳊ ﻜﻴﻢ ﻧ ا َََُۡۡ118. “If You punish them, thenindeed they are Your slaves. And ifYou forgive them. Then indeedYou, only You are the All Mighty,the All Wise.”5-119ِۡ ﻟﺼٰ ِﺪﻗ ﻔ ـﻨ ﻳ ﻳ ؕ ﲔ ِﺻ ۡﺪ ُﻗ ُﻬ ۡﻢ ﻊ م ﻮ ََ ل ََُُّّۡۡ  اﻪﻠﻟٰ ﻫٰ َﺬا َ20 اﳊﺮف ۡن ت ( ت )

ۤ ٰ ُﺮ ٰﺧﻠِ ِﺪﻳۡ َﻦ ﻓِﻴۡﻬَﺎ ۡ َ ﺎاﻻ ۡ َ َﳍ ُ ۡﻢ َﻨّٰ ٌﺖ َ ۡﲡ ِﺮ ۡى ِﻣ ۡﻦ َ ۡﲢﺘِﻬ َِ ا َﺑ ًﺪ ؕا رَّﯽ ِﺿ ﻟٰ ﻋﻨۡﻬﻢ و ر ُﺿﻮا ﻋﻨۡﻪؕ ذٰﻟ ﻚ َُ َ ۡ َ َ ۡ ُ َ ُّ َ اﻟـۡ َﻔ ۡﻮ ُز اﻟۡﻌ َ ِﻈﻴﻢ ُۡ119. Allah will say: “This is the dayin which the truthful will profitfrom their truth.” For them areGardens underneath which riversflow, wherein they will abideforever. Allah is pleased with themand they are pleased with Him.That is the great success.13-8ِ ﻟٰ ﻳﻌﻠَﻢ ﻣﺎ َﲢۡ ِﻤ ُﻞ كُ ُّﻞ اُﻧۡﺜ ٰﻰ وﻣﺎ ﺗَﻐ ﻴ ﺎم ﺣ ر اﻻ ﺾ ََۡ ُ َۡ ُ ُّ َ ۡ ُ ۡ ََ ﺪا ٍر ﻘ َۡ وَكُﻞُّ ﻰﺷ ٍء ِﻋﻨۡ َﺪ ٗه ِ ِﲟ ۡ َ َو َﻣﺎ ﺗَ ۡﺰدَ ُؕاد 8. Allah knows what every femalecarries and by how much thewombs fall short and what theymay exceed. And every thing withHim is in (due) proportion.6-54 ك اﻟ َّ ِﺬﻳۡ َﻦ ﻳُ ۡﺆ ِﻣﻨُ ۡﻮ َن ﺑِﺎ ٰﻳٰتِﻨَﺎ ﻓَ ُﻘ ۡﻞ َﺳﻠ ٰ ٌﻢ َ َ َواِذَا َﺟﺂء ﺐ َرﺑُّ ُﻜ ۡﻢ َ ٰ ﻧ َ ۡﻔ ِﺴ ِﻪ اﻟ َّﺮ ۡﲪَﺔَ ۙ اَﻧ َّ ٗﻪ ﻣَ ۡﻦ ََ َﻠَﻴ ۡ ُﻜ ۡﻢ َﻛﺘ 21 ۡن ث ( ث )

ﻋَ ِﻤ َﻞ ِﻣﻨۡ ُﻜ ۡﻢ ُﺳ ۡﻮٓءًۢا ِﲜَﻬٰﻠ َ ٍﺔ ُﺛ َّﻢ ﺗَﺎ َب ِﻣ ۡ ۢﻦ ﺑَﻌۡ ِﺪ ٖه ﻠ ﺻ ََ ﻏ ُﻔ ۡﻮ ٌر َر ِﺣﻴﻢ ﻪ َﺢ ﻧ ﺎ ﻓ ََّۡ َ َوا ٌَٗۡ ّ54. And when those who believe inOur revelations come to you, say:“Peace be on you. Your Lord hasdecreed upon Himself mercy, thatany of you who does evil inignorance then repents thereafter,and corrects himself, then surely,He isOft Forgiving, MostMerciful.”14-6ِِ ّ ﺎل ٰﺳ ﻟِـﻘَﻮ ِﻣ ِﻪ ا ۡذ ُﻛﺮوا ﻧِ ۡﻌﻤ َﺔ ٰ ﻟ ﻗ ذ َۡۡ َو ا َ ُﻮۡﯽ َ ُۡ َﻠَﻴ ۡ ُﻜ ۡﻢ اِ ۡذ ا َ ۡﳒ ٰٮ ُﻜ ۡﻢ ِّﻣ ۡﻦ ا ٰ ِل ﻓِ ۡﺮﻋَ ۡﻮ َن ﻳ َ ُﺴ ۡﻮ ُﻣ ۡﻮﻧـَ ُﻜ ۡﻢ ِ ُﺳ ۡﻮۤءَ اﻟۡﻌَ َﺬ اب َو ﻳُ َﺬ ِّ ُﲝ ۡﻮ َن ا َﺑۡﻨَﺂءَ ُﻛ ۡﻢ َوﻳ َ ۡﺴﺘ َ ۡﺤﻴ ُ ۡﻮ َن ﻢ َو ِﰱۡ ذٰﻟ ِ ُﻜ ۡﻢ ﺑ َ َﻶ ٌء ِّﻣ ۡﻦ َّرﺑِّ ُﻜ ۡﻢ ؕ ۡ ﻧِ َﺴﺂءَ ُﻛ ﻋَ ِﻈﻴﻢ ٌۡ6. And when Moses said to hispeople: “Remember Allah’s favorupon you when He saved you fromPharaoh’s people who wereafflicting you with dreadful22 ۡن ج

torment, and were slaughteringyour sons and letting your womenlive. And in that was for you atremendous trial from your Lord.”14-19ؕ ﻟﺴ ٰﻤﻮ ٰ ِت َو ۡاﻻ َ ۡر َض ﺑِﺎ ۡﳊـ َ ّ ِﻖ َّ ﻟَٰ َﺧﻠ َ َﻖ ا ّ اَﻟ َ ۡﻢ ﺗَ َﺮ ا ََّن ﺪ ۙ ٍ ۡ اِ ۡن ﻳَّ َﺸﺎ ۡﻳُ ۡﺬ ِﻫﺒ ۡ ُﻜ ۡﻢ َوﻳَﺎ ۡ ِت ِﲞَﻠ ۡﻖٍ َﺟ ِﺪﻳ 19. Have you not seen that Allahhas created the heavens and theearth in truth. If He wills, He couldtake you away and bring in a newcreation.14-22َِِ ﻄ ﻴ ﺸ ﻟ ﻣ ٰ ﻟ ن ا ﺮ اﻻ ﺎ ـﻤ ﻟ ﻦ ﻀ ﺎل ا ّ ُﯽ َََََّٰۡۡ ّ َُ َ َو ﻗ َُّۡ ﻢ َو َﻣﺎ ؕ ۡ َو َ َﺪ ُﻛ ۡﻢ َو ۡ َﺪ ا ۡﳊـ َ ّ ِﻖ َو َو َﺪ ّﺗُ ُﻜ ۡﻢ ﻓَﺎ َ ۡﺧﻠ َ ۡﻔﺘُ ُﻜ ﺎن ِﱃَ َﻠَﻴ ۡ ُﻜ ۡﻢ ِّﻣ ۡﻦ ُﺳﻠ ۡ ٰﻄﻦٍ اِ َّﻻ ۤ ا َ ۡن دَﻋَ ۡﻮ ُﺗ ُﻜ ۡﻢ َ َ ك ۤ ﻢ َﻣﺎ ؕ ۡ ﻓَ ۡﺎﺳﺘ َ َﺠبۡﺘُ ۡﻢ ِۚﱃۡ ﻓَ َﻼ ﺗَﻠ ُ ۡﻮ ُﻣ ۡﻮ ِﱏ ۡ َوﻟ ُ ۡﻮ ُﻣ ۡﻮۤا اَﻧ ۡ ُﻔ َﺴ ُﻜ ��ِﯽ ِﺧ َّ ؕ اِ ِ ّﱏ ۡ َﻛ َﻔ ۡﺮ ُت ِِِۡ ِ اِنَّ اﻟﻈٰﻠ ﻣ ﺷ ﻤ ﺘ ﻛ ِۤ ﲔ َﳍ ُ ۡﻢ ﻞ ﺒ ﻗ ﻦ ن ﻮ ۡ ﺮ ا ﺎ ﻤ ؕ ﲟ ََُّۡۡ ۡ ۡ ُ ُ َ ََ اب اَﻟِﻴﻢ ٌ ۡ ٌ َ َﺬ 23 ج ( ) ۡن د

22. And Satan will say when thematter has been decided: “Indeed,Allah promised you the promise oftruth. And I (too) promised you,then I betrayed you. And I did nothave over you any authority exceptthat I invited you and youresponded to me. So do not blameme, and blame yourselves. I can nothelp you, and you can not helpme. Indeed, I disbelieved in thatwhich you ascribed to me before.Indeed, the wrongdoers, for them isa painful punishment.”6-99ِِ اﻟﺴﻤ ﻣ ﺂء َﻣﺂءًۚ ﻓَﺎ َ ۡﺧ َﺮ ۡﺟﻨَﺎ ﻦ ََ ّ َ َو ُﻫ َﻮ اﻟ َّ ِﺬ ۡ ۤى اَﻧ ۡ َﺰ َل ِﻪٖ ﻧَﺒَﺎتَ كُﻞِّ ﻰﺷ ٍء ﻓَﺎ َ ۡﺧ َﺮ ۡﺟﻨَﺎ ِﻣﻨۡ ُﻪ َﺧ ِﻀ ًﺮا ُّﳔ ۡ ِﺮ ُج َۡ ِﻣﻨۡ ُﻪ َﺣﺒًّﺎ ُّﻣ َﱰَا ِﻛﺒ ً ۚﺎ َو ِﻣ َﻦ اﻟﻨَّ ۡﺨ ِﻞ ِﻣ ۡﻦ َﻃﻠۡﻌِﻬَﺎ ﻗِﻨۡ َﻮا ٌن ٍِ ﻣ ﻟ ﻟ ﺘ ﻳ ٍ ﺮ ا و ن ﻮ ﺎن ﻣ ﺰ ا و ﺎب ﻨ َﻋ ا ﻦ ﺖ َََُّّٰۡ دَﻧِﻴَﺔٌ وَّﺟَﻨ َُّ ّ ّ َ َ ۡ ّ َۡ ۡ ُﻣ ۡﺸتَﺒِﻬًﺎ َّو َ ۡﲑ َ ُﻣﺘ َ ٰﺸﺒِ ٍﻪؕ اُﻧ ْ ُﻈ ُﺮ ۡوۤا اِ ٰﱃ ﲦَ َ ِﺮ ٖه ۤ اِذَا ۤا َ ۡﲦ َ َﺮ ِ وﻳﻨۡﻌِ ٖ ؕﻪ اِ َن ِﰱ ذٰﻟ ٍ ﺖ ﻟ ِ ّﻘَ ۡﻮ ٍم ﻳ ُّ ۡﺆ ِﻣﻨُ ۡﻮن ﻳ ﻻ ﻢ ﻜ ََُٰ ۡ ۡ ّ َََ24 ( د )

99. And it is He who sends downwater from the sky, then Weproduce with it vegetation of allkinds, then We bring forth fromit the green (crops), We bringforth, out of which, the thickclustered grain. And out of thepalm tree from the sheath of it,(We bring out) thick clustered dateshanging low, and gardens of grapes,and the olive and the pomegranate,resembling and yet different (intaste). Look at their fruit, whenthey begin to bear fruit, and itsripening. Indeed, in that are signsfor a people who believe.5-91 اِ َّﳕَﺎ ﻳُ ِﺮﻳۡ ُﺪ اﻟ َّﺸﻴ ۡ ٰﻄ ُﻦ ا َۡن ﻳُّ ۡﻮﻗِ َﻊ ﺑَيۡﻨ َ ُﻜ ُﻢ اﻟۡﻌَ َﺪ َاو َة َو اﻟۡﺒَﻐۡ َﻀﺂءَ ِﰱ ا ۡﳋ َ ۡﻤ ِﺮ َو اﳌۡ َيۡ ِﺴ ِﺮ َو ﻳ َ ُﺼ َّﺪ ُﻛ ۡﻢ ﻋَ ۡﻦ ِ ّ ِذ ۡﻛ ِﺮ ﻮة ﻓَﻬَ ۡﻞ اَﻧۡﺘُ ۡﻢ ِۚ ٰ ﻟٰ َو ﻋَ ِﻦ ا َّﻟﺼﻠ ُّﻣ نۡﺘ َ ُﻬ ۡﻮن َ91. Satan only wants to causebetween you enmity and hatredwith intoxicants and gambling, andhinder you from the remembrance25 ۡن ذ

of Allah, and from the prayer. So,will you refrain.3-185 كُ ُّﻞ ﻧ َ ۡﻔ ٍﺲ ذَآ ِٕٮﻘَ ُﺔ اﳌۡ َ ۡﻮ ِتؕ َو اِ َّﳕَﺎ ُﺗ َﻮ َّﻓ ۡﻮ َن اُ ُﺟ ۡﻮ َر ُﻛ ۡﻢ ﻳ َ ۡﻮ َم اﻟۡﻘِﻴ ٰ َﻤ ِﺔؕ ﻓَ َﻤ ۡﻦ ُز ۡﺣ ِﺰ َح ﻋَ ِﻦ اﻟﻨَّﺎ ِر َو اُ ۡد ِﺧ َﻞ ا ۡﳉَـﻨَّﺔَ ﻓَﻘَ ۡﺪ ﻓَﺎزَ ؕ َو َﻣﺎ ا ۡﳊَﻴٰﻮ ُة َِ ع اﻟۡﻐُ ُﺮ ۡو ِر ﺎ ﺘ ﻣ ﻻ ُّ َ َ اﻟ ُّﺪﻧۡﻴَﺎ ۤا 185. Every soul will taste death.And you will only be paid in fullyour wages on the Day ofResurrection. Then whoever isremoved from the Fire, and isadmitted to Paradise, then indeed,he is successful. And the life of thisworld is not but an enjoyment ofdeception.3-185 كُ ُّﻞ ﻧ َ ۡﻔ ٍﺲ ذَآ ِٕٮﻘَ ُﺔ اﳌۡ َ ۡﻮ ِتؕ َو اِ َّﳕَﺎ ُﺗ َﻮ َّﻓ ۡﻮ َن اُ ُﺟ ۡﻮ َر ُﻛ ۡﻢ ﻳ َ ۡﻮ َم اﻟۡﻘِﻴ ٰ َﻤ ِﺔؕ ﻓَ َﻤ ۡﻦ ُز ۡﺣ ِﺰ َح ﻋَ ِﻦ اﻟﻨَّﺎ ِر َو اُ ۡد ِﺧ َﻞ ا ۡﳉَـﻨَّﺔَ ﻓَﻘَ ۡﺪ ﻓَﺎزَ ؕ َو َﻣﺎ ا ۡﳊَﻴٰﻮ ُة اﻟ ُّﺪﻧۡﻴَﺎ ۤاِ َّﻻ ع اﻟۡﻐُ ُﺮ ۡو ِر ُ َﻣﺘَﺎ 26 ذ ( ) ۡن ز

185. Every soul will taste death.And you will only be paid in fullyour wages on the Day ofResurrection. Then whoever isremoved from the Fire, and isadmitted to Paradise, then indeed,he is successful. And the life of thisworld is not but an enjoyment ofdeception.18-74ِِٰۤ ﺎل ﻗ ۙ ﻪ ﻠ ﺘ ﻘ ﻓ ﺎ ﻤ ﻠ ﺎ ﻴ ﻘ ﻟ ا ذ ا ََََ ٗ َ َ َ ً ٰ ُ َ َ ّ َﱴ ﻓَﺎﻧ ْ َﻄﻠَﻘَﺎ ٍِ ﲑ ﻧ َ ۡﻔ ِ ۡ َ ﺖ ﻧ َ ۡﻔﺴﺎ زَ ِﻛﻴَﺔً ۢ ﺑِﻐ َ ﺖ ﺌ ﺟ ﺪ ﻘ ـ ﻠ ﺘ ﻗ ا ؕﻟ ﺲ ََََّۡۡ ََّۡ ًۡ ُّ َﻴۡــٴﺎﻧ ﻜ ًﺮا ( ز ِ َواِذَا ۤ اَﻧۡﻌَ ۡﻤﻨَﺎ َ َ ۡاﻻِﻧ ۡ َﺴ ۚ ﺎن ا َ ۡﻋ َﺮ َض َو ﻧَﺎ ٰ ِﲜَﺎﻧِﺒِ ٖﻪ واِذَا ﻳَــٴُ ۡﻮﺳﺎ ًَ ۡن س 74. So they both proceeded until,when they met a boy, so he killedhim. He (Moses) said: “Have youkilled an innocent soul without (himkilling another) soul. Certainly, youhave done a horrible thing.”17-8383. And when We bestow favorupon man, he turns away and drifts27 )

off to one side. And when eviltouches him, he is in despair.18-22 ﲬ َﺴ ٌﺔ ۚ ۡ َﺳﻴَـ ُﻘ ۡﻮﻟ ُ ۡﻮ َن ﺛَﻠٰﺜ َ ٌﺔ َّراﺑِ ُﻌ ُﻬ ۡﻢ كَﻠۡﺒ ُ ُﻬ ۡ َ ﻢ َوﻳ َ ُﻘ ۡﻮﻟ ُ ۡﻮ َن َﺳﺎ ِد ُﺳ ُﻬ ۡﻢ كَﻠۡﺒ ُ ُﻬ ۡﻢ َر ۡﲨًۢﺎ ﺑِﺎﻟۡﻐَﻴ ۡ ِﺐۚ َو ﻳ َ ُﻘ ۡﻮﻟ ُ ۡﻮ َن َﺳﺒۡﻌَ ٌﺔ ۡﻢ َّﻣﺎ َِ ِ َّوﺛَﺎ ِﻣﻨُ ُﻬ ۡﻢ كَﻠۡﺒ ُ ُﻬ ۡﻢؕ ُﻗ ۡﻞ َّر ِ ّﰉۡ ۤ ا َ ۡﻠ َ ُﻢ ﺑِﻌِ ّﺪ ِ ﻓَ َﻼ ُﲤﺎ ِر ﻓِﻴ ِﻬﻢ اِ َّﻻ ﻳﻌﻠَﻤﻬﻢ اِ َّﻻ ﻗَﻠِﻴ ٌﻞ ﻣ آء ﺮ ً َ ۡ ۡ َۡ ُ ُ َِِِِۡۡ ﻫ ِ ا ﺪ َﺣ ا ﻢ ﻬ ﻨ ﻣ ﻢ ﻬ ﻴ ﻓ ﺖ ﻔ ﺘ ﺴ ﺗ ﻻ و ا ﺮ ًََۡ َ ۡ ُ ّۡ ۡ َۡ ۡ َّ ً َﻇﺎ 22. They will say: “(They were)three, their dog the fourth ofthem.” And (others) will say: “Five,their dog the sixth of them.”Guessing at the unseen. And(others) will say: “Seven, and theirdog the eighth of them.” Say (OMuhammad): “My Lord is bestaware of their number. None knowsthem but a few.” So debate notabout them except with the clearproof. And do not inquire, aboutthem, anyone of these.18-69ِ ﻗَﺎل ﺳﺘ ِﺠﺪ ِﱏ ۡ ۤاِن َﺷﺂء ﻟٰ ﺻﺎﺑِﺮا َو َﻻ ۤ َﻋۡﯽ ﺼ ّۡ ً َ ُّ َ ۡ ُ ََ َ28 ( س ۡن ش )

ا َ ۡﻣ ًﺮا ﻚ َ َ ﻟ 69. He (Moses) said: “You shall findme, if Allah wills, patient and Ishall not disobey you in (any)order.”17-58 ﻳ َ ۡﻮ ِم ﻚ َ ِ ذٰﻟ َو اِ ۡن ِّﻣ ۡﻦ ﻗَ ۡﺮﻳ َ ٍﺔ اِ َّﻻ َﳓ ۡ ُﻦ ُﻣ ۡﻬﻠِ ُﻜ ۡﻮ َﻫﺎ ﻗَﺒ ۡ َﻞ ِِِِ ﺑ ﺎن ك ا ؕ ﺪ ﻳ ﺪ ﺷ ﺎ ﺑ ا ﺬ َو ا ﺔ ﻤ ﻴ ﺎ ﻫ ﻮ ﺬ ﻌ ﻣ ًًََََُّۡ َ ۡ َ ُ ۡ َ ٰ اﻟۡﻘ َِِ ﻣ ِ ﺴ ُﻄ ۡﻮرا ﺐ ﺘ ﻜ ـ اﻟ ﰱ ًۡ ۡ َ ٰ58. And there is not any townshipbut that We shall destroy it beforethe Day of Resurrection, or punishit with a severe punishment. This iswritten down in the Book (of ourdecrees).18-43ِّ ۡ دُوۡنِ اﻪﻠﻟٰ َو َﻣﺎ َو ﻟ َ ۡﻢ ﺗَ ُﻜ ۡﻦ ﻟ َّ ٗﻪ ﻓِﺌ َ ٌﺔ ﻳَّـﻨۡ ُﺼ ُﺮ ۡوﻧ َ ٗﻪ ِ َ كَﺎن ﻣ نۡﺘ ؕ ﺼ ًﺮا ُ َ43. And he had no troop of men tohelp him other than Allah, norcould he defend himself.33-23ِِِِ ﻣ ۡ ﳌ ﻗ ٰ ﻟ وا ﺪ ﺎﻫ ﺎ ﻣ ا ﻮ ﺪ ﺻ ل ﺎ ﺟ ر ﲔ ﻨ ﻣ ﺆ ا ﻦ َّ ُ َ َ َ َُۡ َ ٌ َ َ ۡ ُۡ َ ّ29 ( ش ) ۡن ص ( ص )

َّﻦۡ ﻗَﯽﻀ َﳓۡﺒ َ ٗﻪ َو ِﻣﻨۡ ُﻬ ۡﻢ َّﻣ ۡﻦ َﻠَﻴ ۡ ِﻪۚ ﻓَ ِﻤﻨۡ ُﻬ ۡﻢ ِٰ ﻈ ﺘ ن ﻳ ۙ ً ﺪﻟ ُ ۡﻮا ﺗَﺒ ِﺪﻳۡﻼ ﺎ ﻣ و ۖ ﺮ ﺑ ََََََُّّۡۡ23. Among the believers are menwho have been true to what theycovenanted with Allah. So, of themare some who have fulfilled theirvow (have been martyred), andof them are some who are stillwaiting. And they have not altered(commitment) by any alteration.30-54ٍ ۡ ﻠﻟٰ اﻟ َّ ِﺬ ۡى َﺧﻠَﻘَ ُﻜ ۡﻢ ِّﻣ ۡﻦ ُﺿﻌ ﻒ ُﺛ َّﻢ َﺟﻌَ َﻞ ِﻣ ۡ ۢﻦ ٍُّ ﺑ َ ۡﻌ ِﺪ ُﺿ ۡﻌ ﻒ ُﻗ َّﻮة ً ُﺛ َّﻢ َﺟﻌَ َﻞ ِﻣ ۡ ۢﻦ ﺑ َ ۡﻌ ِﺪ ُﻗ َّﻮ ٍة ُﺿ ۡﻌﻔًﺎ َّو ﻠ ﳜ ﺸﺂء ۚ و ُﻫﻮ اﻟۡﻌَﻠِﻴﻢ اﻟۡﻘَ ِﺪﻳ ۡ ُﺮ ﻳ ﺎ ﻣ ﻖ ؕ ﺔ ﺒ ي ﺷ ًَََََُُۡۡ َُۡ َ َ ُ54. Allah is He who created youfrom weakness, then after weaknessappointed strength, then afterstrength appointed weakness andgrey hair. He creates what He wills.And it is He who is the AllKnowing, the All Mighty.30-54ٍ ۡ ﻠﻟٰ اﻟ َّ ِﺬ ۡى َﺧﻠَﻘَ ُﻜ ۡﻢ ِّﻣ ۡﻦ ُﺿﻌ ﻒ ُﺛ َّﻢ َﺟﻌَ َﻞ ِﻣ ۡ ۢﻦ ُّ30 ۡن ض ( ض )

ٍ ﺑ َ ۡﻌ ِﺪ ُﺿ ۡﻌ ﻒ ُﻗ َّﻮة ً ُﺛ َّﻢ َﺟﻌَ َﻞ ِﻣ ۡ ۢﻦ ﺑ َ ۡﻌ ِﺪ ُﻗ َّﻮ ٍة ُﺿ ۡﻌﻔًﺎ َّو ﻠ ﳜ ﺸﺂء ۚ و ُﻫﻮ اﻟۡﻌَﻠِﻴﻢ اﻟۡﻘَ ِﺪﻳ ۡ ُﺮ ﻳ ﺎ ﻣ ﻖ ََُُُۡ ۡ َ َ ُ َ َ ؕ ً َﺷيۡﺒَﺔ 54. He creates what He wills.And it is He who is the AllKnowing, the All Mighty.32-7 ﺷ ٍء َﺧﻠَﻘَ ٗﻪ َوﺑ َ َﺪا َ َﺧﻠ َۡﻖ ۡ َ اﻟ َّ ِﺬ ۡ ۤى ا َ ۡﺣ َﺴ َﻦ كُ َّﻞ ِ ۡاﻻِﻧ ۡ َﺴ ﲔ ۚ ٍ ۡ ﺎن ِﻣ ۡﻦ ِﻃ ۡن ط ِ ٰ َّ ﺎن ﻟ ِ َﺴﺒَﺎٍ ِﰱۡ َﻣ ۡﺴ َﻜ ِﻨ ِﻬ ۡﻢ اٰﻳ َ ٌﺔ ۚ َﺟﻨ ﱳ ﻋَ ۡﻦ َ َ ﻟَﻘَ ۡﺪ ك ِ ﲔ و ﺎل ؕ ُﻠ ُ ۡﻮا ِﻣ ۡﻦ ِّر ۡز ِق َرﺑِّ ُﻜ ۡﻢ َو ٍ ﴰ َ َّ ٍ ۡ َّ ِﳝ ﻏ ُﻔ ۡﻮ ٌر َ ا ۡﺷ ُﻜ ُﺮ ۡوا ﻟ َ ٗﻪ ؕ ﺑَﻠ ۡ َﺪ ٌة َﻃ ِيّﺒ َ ٌﺔ َّو َر ٌّب ( ط 7. Who made good all things thatHe created, and He began thecreation of man from clay.34-1515. Certainly, there was for Shebain their dwelling place a sign. Twogardens on the right and the left.31 )

“Eat of the provision of your Lordand be grateful to Him.” A fairland and a Lord, Oft Forgiving.35-44ِِِ ﻈ ﻨ ي ﻓ ﺎن ك ﻒ ﻴ ﻛ ا و ﺮ ض ر اﻻ ﰱ ا و ﲑ ﺴ ﻳ ﻢ ﻟ َو ا ََََََََََُُُۡۡۡۡۡۡۡۡؕ ً َﺎﻗِﺒ َ ُﺔ اﻟ َّ ِﺬﻳۡ َﻦ ِﻣ ۡﻦ ﻗَﺒۡﻠِ ِﻬ ۡﻢ َوكَﺎﻧ ُ ۡﻮۤا ا َ َﺷ َّﺪ ِﻣﻨۡ ُﻬ ۡﻢ ُﻗ َّﻮة ﻟﺴﻤٰﻮ ٰ ِت َو َﻻ ِﰱ ﺎ ك َّ ﺰَهٗ ﻣِﻦۡ ﻰﺷ ٍء ِﰱ ا ََِۡ ضؕ اِﻧ َّ ٗﻪ كَﺎن َﻠِﻴﻤﺎ ﻗ َ ِﺪﻳ ۡ ًﺮا ۡاﻻ َ ۡر ًۡ َ44. Have they not traveled in theland and seen how was the end ofthose before them. And they weremightier than these in power. AndAllah is not such that any thingescapes Him in the heavens, nor inthe earth. Indeed, He is AllKnowing, All Omnipotent.4-57ِ ﻤ ُﻮا اﻟﺼٰﻠِ ٰﺤ ِﺖ َﺳﻨُ ۡﺪ ِﺧﻠ ُ ُﻬ ۡﻢ َ َو اﻟ َّ ِﺬﻳۡ َﻦ ا ٰ َﻣﻨُ ۡﻮا َو ﻋ ّۤ ٰ ُﺮ ٰﺧﻠِ ِﺪﻳۡ َﻦ ﻓِﻴۡﻬَﺎ ۡ َ َﻨّٰ ٍﺖ َﲡۡ ِﺮ ۡى ِﻣ ۡﻦ َ ۡﲢﺘِﻬَﺎ ۡاﻻ ًّ َّو ﻧ ُ ۡﺪ ِﺧﻠ ُ ُﻬ ۡﻢ ِﻇﻼ ا َﺑ َ ًﺪا ؕ َّﳍ ُ ۡﻢ ﻓِﻴۡﻬَﺎ ۤا َۡزوٰ ٌج ُّﻣ َﻄ َّﻬ َﺮ ٌة ً َﻇﻠِﻴﻼ ۡ32 ۡن ظ ( ظ )

57. And those who believe anddo righteous deeds, We shall admitthem to Gardens underneath whichrivers flow, abiding therein forever.For them therein are purecompanions, and We shall admitthem into plenteous shade.4-71 ﻳٰۤﺎَﻳُّﻬَﺎ اﻟ َّ ِﺬﻳۡ َﻦ ا ٰ َﻣﻨُ ۡﻮا ُﺧ ُﺬ ۡوا ِﺣ ۡﺬ َر ُﻛ ۡﻢ ﻓَﺎﻧ ْ ِﻔ ُﺮ ۡوا ٍ ُﺛﺒ ﺎت ا َ ِو اﻧ ْ ِﻔ ُﺮ ۡوا َﲨِﻴﻌﺎ ًَۡ71. O those who believe, take yourprecautions, then go forth (onexpedition) in parties, or go forthall together.4-79ٍِِ ﻓ ﻣ ۤ ﻚ ﺎﺑ َﺻ ا ﺎ ﻣ و ٰ َ اﻪﻠﻟ ﺔ ﻨ ﺴ ﺣ ﻦ ََ َ َ ََ َّ َ َﻣﺎ ۤا ََﺻﺎﺑ ََ َ ۡ ﻚ ِ َّ ﻚ ﻟِﻠﻨ ﺎس َ ٰ ﻚؕ َو ا َۡر َﺳﻠۡﻨ َ ِﻣ ۡﻦ َﺳ ِيّﺌ َ ٍﺔ ﻓَ ِﻤ ۡﻦ ﻧ َّ ۡﻔ ِﺴ ِ ّ رﺳﻮﻻ ً ؕ وَﻛَﯽ ٰﻔ ﺪا ً ۡ ﻪﻠﻟٰ َﺷ ِﻬﻴ َُۡ79. Whatever of good reaches youis from Allah, and whatever of evilbefalls you is from yourself. And (OMuhammad) We have sent you as amessenger to mankind. Andsufficient is Allah as a witness.33 ْن ف ( ف )

4-92ۚ ﺎن ِﳌُ ۡﺆ ِﻣﻦٍ ا َۡن ﻳَّ ۡﻘﺘُ َﻞ ُﻣ ۡﺆ ِﻣﻨًﺎ اِ َّﻻ َﻄَـ ٴًــﺎ َ َ َو َﻣﺎ ك َو َﻣ ۡﻦ �ـ ٴًــﺎ ﻓَﺘ َ ۡﺤﺮِﻳۡ ُﺮ َرﻗَﺒ َ ٍﺔ ُّﻣ ۡﺆ ِﻣﻨ َ ٍﺔ َّو ِدﻳ َ ٌﺔ ُّﻣ َﺴﻠ َّ َﻤ ٌﺔ اِ ٰٓﱃ ا َ ۡﻫﻠِ ٖﻪۤ اِ َّﻻ ۤ ا َۡن ﻳَّ َّﺼ َّﺪ ُﻗ ۡﻮاؕ ﻓَﺎِ ۡن ﺎن ِﻣ ۡﻦ ﻗَ ۡﻮ ٍم َ ُﺪ ٍّو ﻟـَّ ُﻜ ۡﻢ َو ُﻫ َﻮ ُﻣ ۡﺆ ِﻣ ٌﻦ ﻓَﺘ َ ۡﺤﺮِﻳ ۡ ُﺮ َ َ ك ِ رﻗَﺒ ٍﺔ ُّﻣ ۡﺆ ِﻣﻨ َ ٍ ؕﺔ وا ك ن ﺎن ِﻣ ۡﻦ ﻗَ ۡﻮ ٍۢم ﺑَيۡﻨ َ ُﻜ ۡﻢ َو ﺑَيۡﻨ َ ُﻬ ۡﻢ ََ ۡ ََ َ ﺎق ﻓَ ِﺪﻳ َ ٌﺔ ُّﻣ َﺴﻠ َّ َﻤ ٌﺔ اِ ٰٓﱃ ا َ ۡﻫﻠِ ٖﻪ َو َ ۡﲢﺮِﻳۡ ُﺮ َرﻗَﺒ َ ٍﺔ ٌ َ ِّﻣيۡﺜ ِ َ ُّﻣ ۡﺆ ِﻣﻨ َ ٍﺔۚ ﻓَ َﻤ ۡﻦ ﻟ َّ ۡﻢ َ ِﳚ ۡﺪ ﻓ ِ ۡ َ ﺎم َﺷ ۡﻬ َﺮﻳۡ ِﻦ ُﻣتَﺘَﺎﺑِﻌ ﻴ ﺼ ﲔ ُ َِ ً ﺗَﻮﺑﺔ ِ  اﻪﻠﻟٰ َﻠِﻴﻤﺎ ﺣ ِ ﻣ ﻜﻴﻤﺎ ن و ٰؕ ﻟ ﻦ ََ ّ َ ّ ًَۡ ۡ َ ً ۡ ُّ92. And it is not for a believer tokill a believer except by mistake.And whoever kills a believer bymistake, then the freeing of abelieving slave, and payment of theblood money to his family, unlessthat they give (up as) a charity. Butif he (the slain) was from a peoplehostile unto you, and he was abeliever, then (only) the freeing of abelieving slave (is required). And ifhe (the slain) was from a people34 ۡن ق

between you and them there is atreaty, then a compensation mustbe paid to his family, and thefreeing of a believing slave. Thenwhoever does not find (means),then fasting for two consecutivemonths, (seeking) repentance fromAllah. And Allah is All Knower, AllWise.4-141ِۡ اﻟ َّ ِﺬﻳۡ َﻦ ﻳ َ َﱰﺑَّ ُﺼﻮن ﺑِ ُﻜﻢۚ ﻓَﺎ ﺎن ﻟـ َ ُﻜ ۡﻢ ﻓَﺘۡ ٌﺢ ِّﻣ َﻦ ك ن ََۡ َ ۡ َِ وا ۖ ﻟٰ ﻗَﺎﻟـُﻮۤا اَﻟَﻢ ﻧ َ ُﻜ ۡﻦ َﻣﻌ ُﻜﻢ ِ ﺎن ك ن ََّۡ ۡ َ ۡ َّۡ ﺐ ﻗَﺎﻟـُ ۡﻮۤا اَﻟ َ ۡﻢ ﻧ َ ۡﺴﺘ َ ۡﺤ ِﻮ ۡذ َﻠَﻴ ۡ ُﻜ ۡﻢ ۙ ٌ ۡ ﻟِﻠۡﻜٰ ِﻔ ِﺮﻳ ۡ َﻦ ﻧ َ ِﺼﻴ ِِِ ﻣ ۡ ﳌ ﺎﻪﻠﻟٰ َﳛۡ ُﻜ ُﻢ ﺑَيۡﻨ َ ُﻜ ۡﻢ ﻳ َ ۡﻮ َم ﲔ ؕ ﻨ ﻣ ﺆ ا ﻦ ُّ َ ۡ ۡ ُ َ ّ َو َﳕۡﻨ َ ۡﻌ ُﻜ ۡﻢ ِ اﻟۡﻘِﻴﻤ ِۡ ﻞَ اﻪﻠﻟٰ ﻟِﻠۡﻜٰ ِﻔ ِﺮﻳۡ َﻦ َ َ اﳌۡ ُ ۡﺆ ِﻣ َ ﲔ ﻨ ؕ ﺔ ﻟَﻦۡ ﳚَّۡﻌ ََُّٰ ً ﺳ ِبﻴﻼ ۡ َ141. Those who wait (and watch)about you. Then if there is a victoryfor you from Allah, they say:“Were we not with you.” And ifthere is a success for thedisbelievers, they say (to them):“Did we not gain an advantage over35 ( ق )

you, and we protected you from thebelievers.” So Allah will judgebetween you on the Day ofResurrection. And never will Allahgrant to the disbelievers a wayagainst the believers.4-141ِۡ اﻟ َّ ِﺬﻳۡ َﻦ ﻳ َ َﱰﺑَّ ُﺼﻮن ﺑِ ُﻜﻢۚ ﻓَﺎ ﺎن ﻟـ َ ُﻜ ۡﻢ ﻓَﺘۡ ٌﺢ ِّﻣ َﻦ ك ن ََۡ َ ۡ َِ وا ۖ ﻟٰ ﻗَﺎﻟـُﻮۤا اَﻟَﻢ ﻧ َ ُﻜ ۡﻦ َﻣﻌ ُﻜﻢ ِ ﺎن ك ن ََّۡ ۡ َ ۡ َّۡ ﺐ ﻗَﺎﻟـُ ۡﻮۤا اَﻟ َ ۡﻢ ﻧ َ ۡﺴﺘ َ ۡﺤ ِﻮ ۡذ َﻠَﻴ ۡ ُﻜ ۡﻢ ۙ ٌ ۡ ﻟِﻠۡﻜٰ ِﻔ ِﺮﻳ ۡ َﻦ ﻧ َ ِﺼﻴ ِِِ ﻣ ۡ ﳌ ﺎﻪﻠﻟٰ َﳛۡ ُﻜ ُﻢ ﺑَيۡﻨ َ ُﻜ ۡﻢ ﲔ ﻨ ﻣ ﺆ ا ﻦ ُؕ ّ َ ۡ ۡ ُ َ ّ َو َﳕۡﻨ َ ۡﻌ ُﻜ ۡﻢ ِِ ﻳ َ َ َ ﻞَ اﻪﻠﻟٰ ﻟِﻠۡﻜٰ ِﻔ ِﺮﻳۡ َﻦ ؕ ﺔ ﻤ ﻴ ﻘ اﻟ م ﻮ ۡ ﻟَﻦۡ ﳚَّۡﻌ ََُّٰۡ َ ً اﳌۡ ُ ۡﺆ ِﻣ ِﻨ ۡﲔ ﺳ ِبﻴﻼ ۡ َ َ141. Those who wait (and watch)about you. Then if there is avictory for you from Allah, theysay: “Were we not with you.” Andif there is a success for thedi
