Accomplishing this requires a balanced approach with emphasis onpersonal accountability, experiential learning, and the revelation of the Authentic Self.7

Program CoursesThe Healing of Memories: Cleansing the Lens of PerceptionThis course includes experiential exploration of human growth and development within the SpiritualContext of Healing and Awakening in consciousness. Students will have the opportunity for reviewingtheir life, dis-identifying with their story in service to releasing what no longer serves them, and healingold hurts and the deeper underlying patterns associated with them. Emphasis is placed on exploringtheir own personal history in service to the healing of memories—including intergenerational patterns—and learning to use all experience to their advancement in service to their Healing, Awakening, andMastery. Emphasis is also placed on cultivating attitudes and habits of nurturing self-care physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.Relationship as Spiritual OpportunityThis course focuses upon the family and intimate relationships as potentially some of the greatestopportunities on the planet for growth and learning. It involves integrating and applying the Principlesand Practices of Spiritual Psychology to the process of transforming one significant relationship.Patterns and dynamics of individuals, couples, and family relationships are identified and consideredwithin a Spiritual Context. Methods designed to cultivate more fulfilling couples’ and families’relationships are explored and practiced. Students learn experientially how to utilize the everyday lifeexperiences of their relationships as rungs on the ladder of Spiritual Awakening through applying theempowering Principles and Practices of Spiritual Psychology.Life Mastery and Soul-Centered Co-CreationIn service to enhancing Life Mastery, demonstrating leadership in their own life, and experiencing thetransformational potential and fulfillment inherent in the process of Soul-Centered Co-Creation, eachstudent participates in identifying, envisioning, designing, implementing, and successfully completinga substantive Project that has Heart and meaning for them. Emphasis is placed on demonstratingmastery in applying the tools of Co-Creation while effectively utilizing the Principles and Practicesof Spiritual Psychology for empowering and supporting oneself in producing successful results inphysical-world reality as well as for growth, healing, and transformation.8

Life Mastery & Soul-Centered Co-Creation Project TeamThis course is taken in conjunction with Life Mastery & Soul-Centered Co-Creation and is designedto provide ongoing support for each student in completing a substantive Project utilizing theprocess of Soul-Centered Co-Creation and demonstrating mastery. Class format consists of smallgroup Project Team meetings held a minimum of twice a month. This course provides opportunitiesfor demonstrating effective integration of the Principles and Practices of Spiritual Psychology incommunicating with Team members; supporting Team members in demonstrating clear intention, creativity, resourcefulness, and greater mastery; and providing encouragement and effective feedbackto Team members as they complete a Project that is both heartfelt and substantive. Additionally,Project Teams are a laboratory within which each student has opportunities for more fully integratingand effectively utilizing the Principles and Practices of Spiritual Psychology in service to recalibratingtheir consciousness and life at higher levels.Cultivating the Consciousness of the Spiritual ScientistAs we focus our awareness on Spiritual Awakening, life also requires that we pay attention to thedemands of physical world reality. One of the best ways this can be accomplished is by learning andemploying the essentials of scientific inquiry in general and, for our purposes, learning how to operate asa “Spiritual Scientist.” The Spiritual Scientist is a faculty of Higher Consciousness characterized by NeutralObservation. It allows students to enter a judgment-free zone in which they are free to choose andconduct experiments relative to their own consciousness and aspects of their everyday lives. A majorbenefit of cultivating the Consciousness of the Spiritual Scientist is that it provides a context within whichstudents can experience the Freedom that comes from embracing a Learning Orientation to Life. ThisFreedom includes “trying out” certain things, tracking the results both within their own consciousnessas well as in physical world reality, and seeing for themselves what results their experiments produce. This tends to foster greater Awareness and the leverage necessary for transforming limiting patterns andreactions as well as conducting experiments that can serve to enrich the quality of students’ lives.Six-Day Advanced Spiritual Psychology RetreatThe Advanced Spiritual Psychology Retreat is a six-day experiential laboratory designed as theculminating experience of Life Mastery & Soul-Centered Living II. Each day, students have theopportunity to synthesize, integrate, and demonstrate the Soul-Centered Basic Skills and FacilitationApproaches learned in the Program. Emphasis is upon practical application of the Principles andPractices of Spiritual Psychology learned and practiced throughout the Program.9

Life Mastery & Soul-Centered Living IIClimbing the Mountain of Light! Now that you’ve gained some familiarity with the essentialelements of the Life Mastery & Soul-Centered Living II Program,we’d love to share some additional information with you. This Program is about demonstrating mastery. This requires yourwillingness to step up to a higher level of authentic success thanyou have perhaps ever known previously in your entire life. Thereis only one way we know of providing you with the opportunityfor reaching these higher levels. We must encourage you in“reaching higher,” and to do this means “raising the bar.” It woulddo you no good were we to bring the bar down to where you arealready functioning. Of course, in true USM style, the bar is raisedgradually over nine months, thus giving you time to assimilate onelevel before ascending to the next. The Life Mastery & Soul-Centered Living II Program is a lifetransforming process. You will have tremendous supportthroughout the Program from the USM faculty, staff, yourclassmates, your Inner Counselor, and from Spirit. Remember, thewillingness to do gives the ability to do. We do know two things forsure—you can do this and the benefits are life-long and beyond! If you are inspired to invest 10 months of your life in recalibratingyour consciousness and your life at new levels and in developingthe consciousness of mastery as a way of being and way oflife, the levels of support and opportunities to accelerate yourAwakening are exceptional.10
