Join us for Winter Workshop on Saturday,January 29 at the Harford County Ag Center (4-H Office)3525 Conowingo Road, Street, MD 21154.You must pre-register by January 21st to participate.Registration fee is 20 per person. If this event is canceled orpostponed due to Covid-19 Restrictions , the no refund policywill be re-evaluated and the event will be rescheduled!This county-wide activity is open to all youth of Harford County between the ages of 8-14. Clover classes will notbe offered. This is a great opportunity for you to learn about your favorite 4-H project, develop a new skill, complete a project to take home and just have fun! All 4-H club members are encouraged to attend. You do not haveto be in 4-H to attend, so bring a friend! Questions? The fee will cover supplies for classes and lunch (please see registration form for options). Many classes have a limited number of participants so return your registration early if you plan to attend. Classes fill on a first come, first serve basis. Please be advised that some classes last more than one session. Registration forms and the fee must be returned to the Extension Office by the January 21st deadline. No refunds will be issued after January 21st. Please be advised that Peanut Butter sandwiches and snacks will be offered. You will be notified by email if there are any changes from your first two selections. Check-in will begin at 9:30 am in the solarium/front door entry area. You must check in before attending a class. Classes will begin at 10 am, lunch will be served from 12:00-12:20 pm and the last session will end at 2:15 pm. Beginner Cake Decorating: Basics of cake decorating will be taught-prepare a cake for decorating, learnto color frosting and how to choose decorator bags and tips. Practice basic techniques and decorate yourown cake. (This class requires a double session A&B). Class limited to 10. Participants MUST bring a planter bowl orbasin which is 4-6 inches deep and preferably 12-18 inches wide . No one will be admitted to classwithout their bowl or basin. Soil, stones, plants, and craft material will be provided.
