After completion of the Graduate Diploma or Masters,students will meet the legislative requirements to support the extended practice authority (EPA). UtilisingHealth Management Protocols and Clinical Care Guidelines outlined in the Primary Clinical Care Manual,clinicians in QLD and Victoria will have the ability to administer and supply medicines.Australian Qualifications FrameworkThe Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) is a single national, comprehensive system of qualificationsoffered by higher education institutions (including universities), vocational education and training institutionsand secondary schools. On successful completion of the English language program, students may beadmitted to an award program.Requirements for professional experience placementsThere are no clinical requirements in this program unless candidates select an approved course that containsa clinical requirement. Courses with a clinical requirement are not available to International students.Program feesCommonwealth supported placeA Commonwealth supported place is where the Australian Government makes a contribution towards the costof a students' higher education and students pay a student contribution amount, which varies depending onthe courses undertaken. Students are able to calculate the fees for a particular course via the Course FeeFinder.Commonwealth Supported students may be eligible to defer their fees through a Government loan calledHECS-HELP.Domestic full fee paying placeDomestic full fee paying places are funded entirely through the full fees paid by the student.
